   Used to work just down the road at evo cycles and would go in every day, but sadly now work in Horotiu. I live in cambridge so any chance I get I go in as he has the best lies and sausage rolls HANDS DOWN. The sausage rolls are awesome especially if they’re just made. Flakey, hot and just tasty as hell. I’ll die on that hill. Plus their chips are done with fat so have even better taste too. Can’t recommend them enough. Sadly they close at 2 but get in before 12 for the best as they open at 4am.

   After living in Cambridge for over 8 years I didn't think a single place could do an excellent pie. Well I was sorely mistaken and this small, unassuming tuck shop has been right under my nose the whole time. This is how a pie should be. Beautiful flakey pastry and tender, quality beef - no fatty, gross offcuts or grissly bits. Real pieces of steak sourced from the local butcher (as the owner told me). If you live in Australia and have come back for a couple weeks and want a decent pie (like myself) you better watch the scales - the food at this tuck shop is just too good to pass up. Well done! P.S. the 1 star review from six years ago is significantly out of date or it's from a jealous bakery owner! Two days in a row of excellent pies without failure and a delicious ham filled roll too. They cannot have reviewed the same bakery as this!

   Was the worst Tuck Shop Lunch, had a hair in the stale bread ham cheese and pickle sandwich, the bacon and cheese crunchie tasted past expiry and the long cream filled donut buns... Was the worst I've ever had, ended up throwing and buying elsewhere.....
