   Highly recommend for WOF etc, they are quick and helpful, and are super helpful if something does need fixing. the receptionist is lovely and great for a chat, is always so kind to my kids too, I’m a solo mum and often find I’m taken advantage of by mechanics but have never had that issue here (once had a mechanic try to charge me over a grand for a split pin and handbrake line tighten at another business) so yeah highly recommend to anyone needing mechanic services

   Bad reviews are from people who take their 20 year old family SUV to a BUSY, high end performance and tuning workshop and expect to be treated as if their car is the most prized possession in the shop, (Not to say they'd give it anything less than a quality, well done job). Steve and his team took great care of my newly purchased MazdaSpeed3 and went above and beyond to look and test for any abnormalities (even though I was probably the least interesting car they examined). With the limited space and the many cars they have on their hands they were surprisingly efficient, informative, and solved the issues I was concerned about. Couldn't recommend enough if there's an issue you're experiencing that's too annoying, complex, or time consuming to resolve at home; Or simply need a quality service or tune... 5 stars for RE Sinclair. Will be seeing you blokes again soon for a few mods and a tune!

   Very disappointed at the pre purchase inspection service. Went there for peace of mind, got more stressed instead. The report they provided was very vague with no guidance around their findings, so someone like me who has no idea about mechanics became completely lost. When asked to speak to the mechanic, he looked at me as if I’m stupid for not understanding. Just spend the extra $50 and go to Vtnz instead.

   Was recommended R. E Sinclair for a warrent. The lads in the workshop clearly forget customers can hear the foul language in the waiting room. The WOF inspector then says "22 inch rims are a bit excessive" Since this is my choice his opinion wasn't wanted or needed. Tried to tell me 22" rim and tyres are going to be policed by WOF inspectors, even tho my car came out with 22" rims. The WOF service was quick but could have done without the extra comments.

   Donna is probably the most delightful, courteous, and helpful person I have come across all the car mechanic shops in Christchurch. She was quick to understand my urgency, accommodated my last minute request, and ensured that the entire experience, from start to finish regarding my WoF was delightful. This is going to be my go-to WoF place from this point forth. From my office in the city to the WoF to back in the office in 45 minutes! Wow!

   Took my car in for an annoying sound, was told it was some pressure inside the power steering line, that was 200$ and 2 days later. Was told to ignore it. I found the issue after about half an hour of googling, all it was was a bung oil filter. Incredibly rude service from Donna and the mechanic appeared to treat me like I had no clue probably because I'm young. Wouldn't reccomend to anyone.
