Iβve had three great experiences with Cheryl on the lead up to my wedding. Firstly I had a reception wedding dress altered to fit better around my waist. Second I had a multi layered long wedding dress altered without hassle and received both dresses back in a much shorter time frame than I expected. Lastly I had a bridesmaid dress altered the week prior to the wedding and Cheryl made sure it was ready in time. She was very lovely to deal with, you could tell she had a lot of experience, and the cost of each alteration was very reasonable in my opinion. Highly recommend for any alterations! I will be returning in the future!

Cheryle is absolutely amazing and took any stress I had about altering my wedding dress away. I had quite a few alterations that needed to be done that were quite complex and intricate, Cheryle was so helpful and the results were amazing. A very fair price for the work she does and I would definitely recommend to any future brides but also to anyone who needs tailoring - I will be back βΊοΈ

I had a disappointing experience at the Tailoress, I had pre-booked 1 month prior to get 3 bridesmaids dresses hemmed the day before my wedding. I tried to ask for the price and pay at drop off, but was advised to do this on pick up. The price shocked me, $716 to take up 3 simple lined dresses (picture for reference) over a 4 hour period (from drop off to pick up) which was more than the cost of the dresses. After negotiation, it was agreed to have a $91 discount, despite this it still cost $208 / dress for a simple hem. Highly recommend asking for the price before getting anything done. This was certainly not a nice surprise the day before my wedding especially when I booked so far in advance. Cheryle wasnβt kind or pleasant during negotiations, she took advantage that this was for a wedding. Would not recommend using their services.

I found the job she did to be okay. Had a dress taken in at the back and some cups sewn in. What really did it for me was the price! Went in for the fitting, she pinned the alterations, took about 5mins. I was charged $46 and I assumed that was the cost for the alterations as she hadnβt mentioned another charge. When I went to collect I was charged another $57! When I asked about it she said the $46 was the charge for the fitting and $57 for the work! Thatβs more than I paid for the dress! Iβve never paid more than $30-$40 for alterations (especially one that was not too complicated). Its for that reason I wonβt be going back

Cheryl helped alter a dress that was too long, a skirt that had broken and some jeans that were also too long and it was all perfect! I am so happy with all of them and now love wearing them! She was super friendly and helpful and made sure that it was the perfect length for me. Thank you :)

Cheryle altered my suit and shirt in preparation for my wedding. She did an exceptional job, in a very reasonably timeframe, I am absolutely thrilled with the work she had done. My suit and shirt now fits perfectly and both my partner and I wonβt go anywhere else now.

Needed alterations to dress pants that were well oversized. Was greeted with a warm welcoming and felt comfortable asking questions about what could be done. Despite the urgent requirement to have the work completed, the work was done within 1 working day and to a satisfactory standard. Definitely use this place again, and would recommend to others. Thank you

The lady in the shop was so rude to me! She didnβt bother to even say hello, and then made me feel like I was wasting her time by being there. All I wanted was a simple quote to alter a dress I had, and she spoke down to me and wanted to charge me way too much for what needed to be done. Having some kindness and curtesy isnβt that hard to do and is fundamental for a customer service role. I will not recommend this place to anyone! I ended up going to Kathy who runs Stitch and Sew in Leamington and she was absolutely lovely and quoted me $30 less than the Tailoress

Cheryle absolutely saved the day by fixing my online ordered wedding dress when it arrived in the wrong size. Cheryle converted the back from a zip to a corset style back and it looks beautiful (even better than it looked originally). She was fast, friendly, thorough and quickly put my mind at ease. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Tailoress.
