   Initially great service but failed to issue a refund after an incorrect part was returned. For context, in November 2023 I ordered a CV shaft kit worth approx. $300 from this company which was sourced from the EU and quickly shipped to the address of a mechanic where the car was stuck. Upon arrival of the part, it was found to be for the incorrect side of the vehicle against what was ordered- and Greg was apologetic about this as it was a supplier listing error, not his. He said he would work on finding the correct part and agreed to take the part back & organise a refund. All good. However, no alternative part was found so I had to go second-hand, resulting in the car being inoperable for an additional month which is what it is, a part of alfa ownership. I got the go-ahead to send the part back and did so in January 2024, and upon arrival back to Fiat Alfa Center, a credit note was issued to me - but as weeks and months went by, I did not received a refund to my account as initially specified via SMS while organising freight. I work in automotive parts supply myself and understand the difficulty of managing accounts and remembering to do obscure tasks with problematic orders, but after several spaced-out and patient emails with promises to have the refund sent out week after week in response to no avail, I gave up. But after a conversation about this with a colleague, we both realised this is frankly poor service and against the consumer guarantees act seeing as the part was literally sent back and likely on-sold to the company’s profit, so it is worth alerting others to be mindful when returning items to this company as you may not get your money back.
