As a partner organisation we work alongside Volunteering Waikato all the time. They are an excellent organisation, matching volunteers with roles, engaging in the community, supporting other organisations. They helped me on a personal level when I first moved to this country and volunteered through them and made friends and got to know the community.
I do believe volunteering is an important part of integrating with the community. Integration means you get to know the community and build yourself to be a valuable part of the community. The staff at Volunteering Waikato are incredible individuals, each one of them. With an incredible work ethic and a drive to be able to help those looking to help others.
