Having recently set up our Arts Te Aroha Choir account with First Credit Union Te Aroha, we mainly dealt with Jill who has made the whole transition from our old bank to the Credit Union so easy, plus organised the signatories seamlessly. Jill's communication was wonderful, instructions easy to follow and was lovely to deal with. We look forward to banking with the friendly staff in Te Aroha :)
Being new retirees we needed some advice on investing. Jill took the time to talk us through some options. We left with some information. On returning to open an account Jill and a lovely trainee started the process of opening an account for us. I like the way both ladies got our sense of humor and joined in with us. Even the young trainee, sorry forget her name, relaxed over the course of getting our account open. I will look forward to every visit knowing that there will be friendly staff to help me .
I have been a client at First Credit Union Te Aroha for more than 15 years. Service has always been of the highest. Staff are pleasant and very helpful and will go out of their way to assist one. When the trading banks were closing our Credit Union put up a sign to say “we are not going anywhere” I think that showed the public the type of people who work there and their respect for their clients. Why would we go anywhere else ??
Just over, what must be now, a month ago my old car suddenly went wrong and it was terminal. I went home worried, stressed and panicking somewhat as to what I was going to do. Me being me, great at worrying, feeling really guilty and rather awkward, messaged one of the ladies who worked there, at home in the evening. Now she could've told me to go away and get in touch with them in the morning but she didn't. She assured me that she would get the ball rolling and to go in the next day. She went in the next day and must have pulled out all the stops. She checked I could get the loan, messaged me at work, said that the loan had been approved and by the time I was finished work I could go in and sign the paperwork. Well true to her word, it was all ready to sign. She even remembered how much I hate forms and had filled them in for me, with the help of a few phone calls to me. Within two days I had a new car and all worries gone. Jill Siddins you are truly amazing , I don't know what I would have done without you. You went above and beyond the call of duty and I will always be grateful for all you done. To all those who work in First Credit Union I am more grateful than you'll ever know. I'm so glad we have you guys in our town, couldn't ask for a better group of people.
Our Club, the Te Aroha Arts Centre Inc., recently transferred our account to the First Credit Union, Te Aroha as they are the only Bank still in Te Aroha. I have to say from first contact we had the friendliest most helpful communication I have ever had with a Bank. I have dealt almost exclusively with Jill and nothing has been too much trouble or a problem and believe me she has been tested with me setting up payees etc. I would highly recommend the First Credit Union Te Aroha Branch to anyone wishing to operate a Bank account.
We have done 3 recent investments with FCU , having not been a member of bank before, and all our dealings have been with Jill Siddons. We have found her helpful, courteous and very efficient. The benefit for us is that it is a local bank offering very competitive investment rates. We highly recommend both bank and staff.
