   Dr Marie-Clare Ferguson and her team are outstanding , Myself and my family, have been patients for many years and i would highly recommend Marie-Clare who is gentle, kind , professional and an amazing specialist, her nurse Andree is Fantastic and the receptionists Deb and Callie are as well , Sarah the Doctor is outstanding, and the other nurse too, Thank you for your wonderful care and support.

   I went to "Mohs And Skin Cancer Specialist" for the removal of a Basal Cancer growth on my nose. From the moment I went inside I was made to feel welcome. I was feeling nervous but Debbie at reception was warm and friendly. Dr Mairi Clare was absolutely amazing. I felt so confident in what she was doing and she and Shelley explained everything. Being a woman, I knew she was very aware how important it was to me that the finished procedure didn't "stand out " ! The atmosphere on the day of the operation and on all the following Checks-ups was friendly and informative. The fact that the growth was actually more invasive than first thought, was a worry but it was removed as well. I can not speak highly enough of the skill, friendliness and warmth that was shown to me. Alison Willis

   With reference to my previous review, daughter's name is Rosemary, and yes she had booked two appointments at your business. The first one was for 27 July. She turned up for this appointment (after waiting about two months for it) and was told you were sick and the receptionist said that she should have contacted her but didn't - gave no apology. Another appointment was made for about six weeks later and she rang to confirm it - left a message because no one answered her call and then was never rung back. I am very disappointed that you say you cannot locate her on your records because I didn't imagine making her first appointment with Mohs and Skin Cancer Specialist in Langdon's Road, Papanui.    If I could put no star at all I would. I am so incredibly sad at the treatment my daughter didn't receive from you. Wearing a mask (on her face) at her job in a bakery/cafe aggravated her skin condition. To add to her misery, when she removed it her customers and other people would make rude remarks to her about it. I booked an appointment for her but had to wait over two months for it and then when my daughter went in for it, the receptionist said the dr was sick and she said she should have sent an email or text cancelling the appointment but she forgot to. Another appointment was made for about a month later. My daughter rang later to confirms this appointment, but no one returned her voice mail message. No apology, nothing. Her skin condition has worsened and she is terribly upset, so thanks for nothing. From Tanya Hamilton

   As there is a history of skin cancer in my family, I wanted to be proactive in taking care of my skin. I visited the clinic to discuss and have a concerning mole examined. The standard of care I received from Dr Ferguson was top notch in every respect. She was patient, answered any questions I had and eased my concerns with an incredible amount of care and professionalism. I received wonderful treatment, felt relaxed, was well informed and would recommend Dr. Ferguson wholeheartedly. Her knowledge, attention to detail and technical skills are bar none!

   It is a great privilege to be able to write a Review for the Mohs and Skin Cancer Specialist and Dr Mairi Clare Ferguson. Coming from a Medical Family I have certain expectations of the service provided by Medical Professionals and Dr Ferguson exceeded these in every aspect during my consultation with her. The focus , attention to detail , communication and technical skill were outstanding and the follow up and support was all I could have hoped for. The procedures themselves are quick and painless. For those of us in a high risk category , Surf Life Savers , Triathletes , Climbers and other Outdoor Pursuits Athletes I would encourage you all to take advantage of these state of the art diagnostic procedures and treatment at Mohs and Skin Cancer Specialist and get a total body scan.
