   Google & FB reviews led me to this dentist clinic and I have to say how delighted I am that I chose them. I had a broken tooth which needed fixing and nothing was too much trouble for them at all. The service I received from the delightful receptionist Jenny, nurse Janet, and the lovely dentist Beata was second to none. I am usually very nervous with dentist visits but was put at ease as soon as I entered the reception. I fully recommend this dental clinic. Five star service from a five star team!

   Very happy patient here. I've been going to Elmwood Dental for over 30 years, first seeing Jane and now Beata. Top dentists, only do work that's necessary or asked for. The main reason why I'm writing this feedback is the new teeth cleaning toy they have. It's like a little sandblaster (I think she said it's something like baking soda) and my teeth haven't been as clean and feeling as smooth since I was a teenager. Many thanks!

   I recently visited Susan Gorrie for some basic fillings on some of my front teeth, and unfortunately, it was a really bad experience. The quality of the work was disappointing, with the fillings looking uneven and highly visible, which made me feel extremely self-conscious. When I pointed this out, she dismissed my concerns, stating that it looked better than before, which didn’t address the actual issues. One of the fillings even had a noticeable gap between the filling and the edge of the tooth, which was hard to ignore. Her explanations for this gap didn’t make sense, especially since the other tooth didn't have the same issue. It felt like my concerns weren’t being taken seriously, and there was no willingness to make it better. Considering her years of experience, I was genuinely surprised by the lack of attention to detail and professionalism. Frankly, I believe I could have done a better job myself with the right tools. I won’t be returning, and I certainly won’t be recommending her services.

   I can honestly say I enjoy visiting Elmwood Dental. I have heavily filled teeth and know I will be up for ongoing repair work as time goes on. I wanted to find a Dentist I could feel comfortable with and was recommended Elmwood Dental. I have been so well looked after by the Elmwood dental team. I have appreciated the follow up calls and the efforts made to accommodate scheduling appointments. Sherin is ‘my’ Dentist :) I have every confidence in her skills, expertise, and experience and access and use of modern technology. My most recent appointments were related to a crown. Good advice around timing the procedure, answered all my questions, checked in with me through each step of the treatment. I genuinely recommend this Dental Practice JE Christchurch

   I live in Auckland and was in Christchurch last week visiting family. Our 11yo son broke his front tooth again just before we arrived, from an initial break two weeks ago. Elmwood Dental were so friendly and accommodating from my first enquiry with their receptionist Linda, to the dental work from dentist Sherin & her assistant. I was very impressed, happy and satisfied. My son commented how nice they all were. I highly recommend this dental practice and thank the staff once again, for their professionalism and warm welcoming manner.

   Susan is an excellent dentist, I really appreciated that she took the time to listen to my concerns, provide considered and thoughtful advice and talked me through what was happening at each step of the (relatively minor, this visit) procedures she was performing in a very clear (but not at all condescending) manner. I am generally apprehensive about visiting dentists (like most people, I guess) but will certainly be returning to Elmwood.

   My daughter recommended Beata @Elmwood Dental to me. I had become quite apprehensive attempting to find a new dentist after our family dentist had retired. I had put off treatment for quite a long time and was now suffering from toothache. Beata and her lovely team at Elmwood more than matched my daughters description. Exceptionally kind and caring women. Beata is a genuinely nice person, extremely thorough and professional with her work. I was given a call after my last treatment to check that my aching tooth had settled down and happy to tell Roz that it had! Great to find that they care enough to follow up and go the extra mile for their clients. And I was pleasantly surprised by the price of treatment here as I was expecting to pay more! The cost was fair & treatment excellent. I am more than happy to recommend Beata, Roz & Jo @Elmwood. Thank you ladies!
