Thanks Steve for a great painting job of my 1928 Indian Chief. I appreciated the colour sample, and the clear coat test for the waterslide transfer and decals. It can be a challenge to retain sand casting detail and to fill the sheetmetal and frame tube to correct rust pits. You achieved this and produced an excellent result. Thanks also for the attention to hinge and tank filler masking details. Iβll send you some photos when the motorcycle is assembled.

John and I have a 1957 Buick Special and in January this year someone hit us on the right hand side while we were turning and hit the right front door, still and front guard. So we were up for a door, and looking in the States for a door was like looking for hens teeth, so we got in contact with our friend (Ben Johnson) to see if he knew anyone or where we could get one from, Ben's reply was 'my mate could fix that'. So within a couple of hours we had a call from Steve Allan saying I hear you need my help. So a few days later the car was at his place and Steve and his team had a look and said 'Yep, we can reskin the door and fix the rest up'. 5 weeks down we had our car back in show room condition, we could not believe what they had done. Through the whole process Steve kept in touch by phone calls and photos. We could not fault Steve Allan Customs and his workers and would recommend if anyone has a classic, hot rod or custom car that needs work this is the place to go.

Great service with a fantastic crew. Steve and his team took on my project without hesitation despite it being slightly off the rails. Outstanding craftsmanship will truly make this a one of a kind ride.

I chose Steve Allan Customs because I wanted to support local people over COVID. It took many, many months to restore my car. Steve Allan Customs was my base, and from there I would take my car to the upholsterer, auto electrician, mechanics- then back to Steve for their work to continue. Did it all go smoothly - no. Were there problems - sure. But for a 'project' that had so many moving parts over many months, I expected issues. The main thing is Steve sorted them. I'm really happy with my car. The end result is exactly what I imagined. It's been to a few shows and the paint finish always gets comments. I've been caught out in torrential rain, and the car has stayed dry. Cheers. Nigel

Pure garbage Wouldnβt get them to put a handle on a bucket Terrible workmanship 6β x 8β hole cut on floor to mount floor shifter had 2 goes at it Charged twice to do this Supplied Bolt on brake pedal and booster it got cut up welded and ended up with Booster 5 mm clearance off engine Brake lines fitted what a joke Cut off blank against chassis Lots of other badly done work also too much to list Need to remove all of it and do it properly Asked Steven to come and see bad work. He thinks itβs a joke 20 k later and have to revisit everything done by these amateurs Stay away from steve Alan custard shop Lots of work done panel work and mounts Everything that was done is of poor quality and needs to be redone

Having built a strong working relationship with Steve and his crew for well over a decade, Steve Allan Customs works in cohesion with our Signbiz brand. Highest quality workmanship with an obvious pride in their craft. Customer service is at their forefront with an eye for detail and a can-do attitude which sees their thinking outside the box a winning formula. From the obvious outlandish custom vehicle creations, their skills easily adapt through to working on large signage projects, successfully. If you want a team to work on a project where the only limit is your imagination - Steve Allan Customs is the one stop shop!

Steve and his team are absolute craftsmen. Over a one-year full restoration of our 1936 Chevy Coupe, Steve completed a pre-purchase inspection, transported it to his workshop and completed a phenomenal restoration of our car. Every two weeks I would get a detailed written update on what had been completed along with photos. The communication was first class and they were always happy for me to pop in and see progress on the car. Steve went the extra mile to transport the car to a photo shoot and then deliver it to us in Auckland. We couldn't have hoped for a better team of people to bring this restoration to life. Massive thanks to Steve Allan Customs
