Drop into Ophelia Cafe on my way home to AKL, this is a hidden gem in Cambridge. The food, the service, atmosphere and the staff are amazing. We ordered creme brulee waffles with bacon and Ophelia benedict and 2 coffee, the food was beautiful and cooked to perfection. The service was fast. Must go back next time and try the other items on the menu. 100% recommended.

I have been coming to Ophelia since it opened and I love it. It has always been a great brunch spot. Unfortunately I went for brunch this week and noticed a massive drop in food quality. The coffee was still very good. The place was also understaffed with one lady on the front counter expected to take orders, run food and make coffees. That's a recipe for disaster. My eggs Benedict had hollandaise from a jar in a little cardboard container on the side. The spinach was not wilted and the eggs were overcooked. The bread was also pre sliced value bread. I write this review not to complain but to get my favorite brunch spot back to how it was. The kitchen needs to be properly staffed and the changes that have been made to staffing and food quality in recent weeks need to be reverted. Hopefully this is seen by the owner and some changes are implemented. If they are not I can't imagine this cafe will last long this summer. It needs to operate just like it did previously.

Well I was thinking just another cafe but..... Coffee was great, Raglan roast. The bacon and egg buttie was on point (please see photos) The eggs benedict was great also and the hollandaise was really good not that really vinegar tasting stuff. Quick service with a smile. The blankets to keep us warm as we were out side with the dog is a nice touch. Nice atmosphere and multiple rooms of you need space. 5 stars from us.

Great little spot with several rooms to choose from for quiet reading or chummy conversations. Garden setting with seats on the verandah. Great play area outside undercover for the kids. Enjoyed the avo on sourdough with dukka. Added halloumi. Staff werenβt particularly friendly, but were efficient. $30 for breakfast & tea. βοΈ Parking on side street.

Excellent food from the menu, esp the pork belly salad. Cabinet sweets were a little dry, but the keto peppermint slice was yummy and I'd get that again. We found ventilation inside was stuffy and smoky, so I think they need to fix that. Still a great place to stop by in Cambridge away from the main strip.

My companion led me into what felt like someone's private property. Little did I know that I was entering one of Cambridge's finest coffee houses this side of the Waikato. An incredible feel in a rehauled family home. Food and coffee was delicious and was flavourfully paired with community bustle and backroom, lowlight chitchat. Ordering coffee from the kitchen felt like getting my old Mami to whip me up a hot chocolate in 2008. Perfect for a big chat about political utopia, cut short by lack of drink. Not of coffee, though. The beans flowed like water. An excellent place that I highly recommend.

A lovely quaint little coffee house, an awesome locally roasted coffee blend, selection of low cal soft drinks, home baked healthy tasty bits. Haven't had anything more but it's definitely a place to grab a brew after the gym or a mid-morning stop off. Seating and parking outside also, i'll be back again.

Popped in for some takeaway coffees whilst walking the dog, with a view to coming back for breakfast, but alas no traditional eggs Benedict with bacon or salmon, so decided against it (guess we could have asked for one to be made up, but donβt like to). The place looked amazing though and the coffee nice. The service and staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Itβs conveniently situated on the main road so easy to find
