   So glad we tried this local restaurant. Very friendly service even though it was busy as with lots of eat in diners as well as a steady stream of takeaway customers. The food is definitely worth the visit. The chicken pieces are outstanding, super crunchy and still lovely and moist. Loved the gravy.

   We ordered the 3 meat share platter and I didn't realise that ALL the sides come with it. It was so filling that we had to take some to go. The meats were so soft and cooked perfectly. The Texan BBQ sauce was my favourite sauce.

   Platter for two ... not given water to accompany meal despite asking for it when ordering, brisket was dry and excessively salty (wife is an ex chef - couldn't finish it)... chips/fries excessively seasoned. Coleslaw was good but not much of it. Overall very disappointing experience - especially as we dined fairly early!

   Drawn in by glowing online reviews, we decided to try out this popular barbeque eatery. It offers both outdoor and indoor seating. The rustic smokehouse décor immediately sets the right mood: wooden accents and industrial lighting. We were however hoping to be welcomed by the comforting aroma of barbeque smoke in the air though this was non-existent. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we were well looked after throughout the meal. We opted for the jalepeno poppas and the 3 Meat Sharing Platter, eager to sample the best this place had to offer. The platter came with a generous selection of sides which were fresh and flavourful. Unfortunately, the meats themselves were inconsistent. The beef and cheese kransky was decent but nothing unique, lacking the punch or smokey character that would make it memorable. The smoked pork belly, while rich felt overly fatty and oily and disappointingly, it lacked the deep smokiness one expects from a proper smokehouse. The biggest letdown however, was the brisket — dry, tough, and far from the tender, juicy cut that defines great barbeque. While the atmosphere and service were commendable, the food — particularly the meats — fell short of expectations. Given the hype, it’s a shame the flavours didn’t quite live up to the promise. We came here based on strong online reviews, but sadly, we’re not sure if we’ll be returning anytime soon.

   Went to the smoke collective with some friends, we ordered sharing plater of meats, with a load of sides. Service was great and staff were really helpful and friendly. Food was really good, flavors were wonderful and just what we needed. Highly recommend

   Wow, just wow. The food is magnificent, more than we could eat, the meat is so tender and tasty, have to have the cheese sauce and garlic bread as sides. We shared two platters between four of us and were so full. The waitress was lovely and very helpful. We tried to fit in dessert but the first course was more than enough. Highly recommend.

   Order the smoked meats when you come here, that's what they do best! Amazing smoked beef brisket and the gravy that came with it was to die for, would come here for that gravy alone! The loaded chicken dirty fries were good, though the Chipotle mayo on them had no heat whatsoever so was a bit gluggy with all the gooey cheese and nothing to cut through it. Well decorated and clean place too.
