    I was absolutely blown away by their customer service. My fuel cap was stuck and would not open due to a broken cable fitting, so I couldn’t get petrol. The garage I’ve used for over 4 years couldn’t help and told me I had to wait another 3 days— with no offer to at least release the cap so I could use my car in the meantime. I phoned Top Gear and they said, “Come now and we’ll take a look.” Within 10 minutes they released the fuel cap so I could fill up, and the replacement cable arrived today and was fitted the same day. Brilliant service, great communication and genuinely helpful people. Highly recommend!

    Had a check engine light on so these guys connected a diagnostic tool to get the fault code.. $50 not bad.. was a dead O2 sensor so i asked for a quote. They said they found the last one in the country, was gonna cost $460 for the sensor plus 2 hours labour to fit, total price $750.. Called around and found 2 in Auckland for about $250, stopped in at Putaruru wreckers on my way home and they had one too, for $50 (which magically was already at the counter in a little plastic bag when i arrived). Got home and fitted it myself in less than 10 minutes. 5 stars for being the cheapest diagnostic check around, minus 4 for trying to rob me on the parts n labour.

    Excellent business. We got our Subaru air conditioning fixed here, something was wrong, they discovered the condenser had a leak, rang us to tell us the price, ask for permission to proceed or not, proceed, they fixed it overnight, w parts couriered down. Also they have a department for lawnmowers so we got our Gravely /Ariens zero turn 52 inch beast of a lawnmower picked up and dropped back. Replaced both front tires (one was completely flat twice repaired) and blades and a great full service which it needed. All done in a week, back to mow the lawn.
