LBP is an excellent Preschool, my 2yr old enjoys going here. Staff are warm and kind, environment is awesome , clean and spacious with open doors which is really great. We are really happy with our choice and would recommend LBP to any family looking for nurturing their little ones.
We absolutely love LBP Prestons! Our little girl has the best time there - there’s always so much for her to explore and enjoy. The kaiako are all wonderfully friendly, caring, and attentive. The food is wholesome and nourishing - she eats every bit! LBP has such a lovely, homely atmosphere that makes it a comfortable and happy place for our daughter. We completely trust the team and couldn’t be happier with our choice of preschool and nursery.
**Updated in response** It is true. The centre also had no nappies on the last day. You couldn’t have cared less. The MOE is investigating, so we’ll wait for the outcome of this thanks. The owners of Little Blue Penguin recently sold their Bishopdale location and the manner in which it was handled was disgusting. The owners refused to buy enough food to last the final week, so staff were forced to buy dominoes pizzas for 3 days in a row to feed the children. Another staff member had to bring in her own fruit from home, and on the last day they resorted to feeding them crackers from the emergency rations bin. The previous owners of Little Blue Penguin Bishopdale still own this location. So just be wary and informed before deciding to send your children to a place run by people with that sort of attitude.
We have loved being a part of LBP for the last 18m, my son thrives and I love the shared spaces for all ages to interact and enjoy. I love the menu options on offer and that the kaiako enjoy working there which makes me happy knowing my son has happy educators
Absolutely recommend Little Blue Penguin! My two girls are so settled and happy there. The team have such great values and top quality care and I can't rate LBP highly enough
