I had hairdresser fear after an awful few past experiences. Jules gently persuaded me to let her at my hair and explained how it would really improve the condition, and how she would work with what was there rather than chopping a big bit off. I was absolutely delighted with the cut and the experience, she was very careful and did an awesome job on my hair that's annoyingly all different lengths! Statesman and Jules have made me trust hairdressers again and I've now been going regularly since the start of the year. I use Keune shampoo and the regular cuts from Jules have made such a difference in the condition of my hair. I can now wear it down with confidence without having to straighten it!!!! I've not been able to do that for about 10 years. I would really recommend Jules - she's great and doesn't just cut hair to a formula, she has an eye for a well finished cut even for difficult hair like mine. Thanks Statesman and Jules
Fantastic haircut and lovely experience! Visiting from the US and needed a hair cut and color. Used the web to find salons near my hotel. After reading reviews, decided to try the Statesman. What a great decision. Bronwyn's was delightful and really knows her stuff. Fantastic job matching my normal hair coloring and perfect haircut on top of it. One more reason I should be living here.
I was looking for a particular shampoo and conditioner. The lady was super helpful, allowing me time to read the ingredients on the bottles. Nothing was too much bother. I will definately go back to purchase from there.
Have been going to Statesman for several years now. Have always had good experiences here. Even though I have now left Christchurch, I still come back when I"m home on holiday.
