Booked the 3D body scan online, got confirmation, drove all the way from the other side of town and then noone was there! Just a note on the door saying staff are sick so noone will be in today, and this was during staffed hours. The reply to a previous bad review about this said to book online so this wouldn't happen and it still happened. Very unprofessional. Don't have online bookings if you don't have the staff or are not going to be there!
Went to get the 55$ body scan and was told to go through the sliding door, I tried and it was locked as no one was at the desk, someone who was working out had to let me in then no one was at the desk to help me. The worst part about that was I was told to be there earlier than the scan to go over things. Thankfully for one of the PT ladies there, she was so helpful even though it wasn't her job to help me with this. Did the scan and couldn't log into one of the scanners and the PT had to contact someone to get the log in as it was a company log in to use the machine (basically wasn't set up) not the one I just created then I had to log in after that to use it. Was just very disappointing experience. I do recommend getting the scan just wish their customer service was better. Maybe ring ahead to make sure someone is actually there to help you.
I use to love this place, but as of this past weekend I have been accused of intimidating someone at the gym. Anyone who knows me knows I am the opposite of this. And rather than allow me the opportunity to explain my side, refute this claim or apologize I have been politely cancelled. Fact is I have no idea what Brett or Yvette are talking about. They wrote using the words 'latest incident' which makes me sound like some kind of repeat offender, to which I say again 'please explain.' This whole process is so unfair very much a one sided deal. I am saddened that they have treated me in this manner. I feel that they implied I should just quietly go away and say nothing as I would be creating a problem for myself. I don't really see it this way, feels like I'm being bullied by the owners Brett and Yvette, and it is really uncool.
Fit24 is fantastic gym with just the right touches. - great range of modern equipment - wide range of classes - reasonably priced! - hygienic and tidy - awesome bathroom and shower facilities - lots of parking - approachable and friendly owners who make you feel like you're part on the gym family I cannot recommend this gym highly enough!
I have really enjoyed this gym, the staff and owners are friendly and professional. There is a large range of equipment that will be hard to find (beat) elsewhere. Nice and bright and clean.
AVOID THIS GYM AT ALL COSTS Are you ready to go back to highschool? Or even worse, primary school? This gym is owned and operated by two highschool teachers and they are ready to treat you like their naughty students. Have a suggestion for the gym? DETENTION! Want to ask for advice about training? DETENTION! Want to talk with your friends after gym class? You guessed it, DETENTION! These people treat their staff and their members poorly and I cannot support people that treat members in this way. In some cases, the owners refuse to pay their staff for months and months (not that they pay them much in the first place), over charge members and refuse to refund over charges even when clear evidence is presented. The gym itself is old and run down, the equipment is old and mostly in a state of neglect and disrepair, the gym and facilities are dirty, grimy and severely flood in the winter. As if this isn’t bad enough, there is a significant rat infestation. This place is verging on a health hazard! For the money, you are far better off investing an extra few dollars to attend a more upmarket facility.
