Meter was $42, pay waved, then driver said 'hey transaction cancelled' he did it again and handed my card and tapped it to pay and when I checked $198nzd was charged! Why is he still operating he should not be operating as taxi! So dishonest
We used this company in Auckland to go from the Viaduct to Sky City. Driver said he did not take cash due to Covid and took my cousin card and on checking the next morning she was charged $93 - total rip off. Need to have these guys investigated and get her money back.
Should not even have one star!!! Ripped us off last night going from spark arena to Britomart and changed us $93.50!!! Got us to sit in the back seat and then just grabbed our card from us and pay waived it. Was fuming when I woke up this morning and saw this on my bank account. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Always pay these people with cash please everyone. Keep your eyes open!
I used this service last night in Auckland Viaduct, where I asked for a taxi to take me to greenlane for $20. He agreed and when I was exiting the taxi he took my card and pay waved the fee. This morning I looked at my account and $148.50 had been taken from my account from “local cabs Hamilton” they have no working number and I have no way of contacting them to ask for my money back.
