   One star is too generous Deserves a 0. Terrible customer service and rude and arrogant owner Avoid this place at all costs. Had several vehicles needing repair with 30k budget. Rude owner wrongly assumed I couldn't afford it and effectively threw me out when I asked for a very rough estimate once he had assessed them. Surely a rough idea of expenditure is sensible and reasonable request and provided he kept me informed of where it was headed, no problem. Very unpleasant experience. Was an existing customer but never again. Avoid

   Took my Toyota here for a service and warrant. Failed warrant because it was apparently whining and needed a new rear wheel hub. I couldnt hear anything. Couldn't afford it and was stressed because of the cost. Bought a hub at super cheap and took it to a mechanic. He said he could hear nothing and it looked fine. Took it to another testing station and it passed with flying colours. BEWARE. So much stress for nothing. Will be going somewhere else for a service next time. Anyone need a right rear wheel hub that cost me $230 ?Eyeroll

   I’ve taken my cars here a few times now. I’ve always received good service. They get the job done on time and I’ve never been forced into any extras, neither have they done work that I didn’t want. Unless anything changes, I’ll keep visiting this garage in the future.

   !!!Buyer beware ……..if you have an accent you’ll get ripped off!!! My partner booked an appointment for an Oil Change with Vehicle & Tyre Services Cambridge, he received booking confirmation & a reminder. Yet when we arrived they said they had no record of his booking! They asked if we were local (YES), agreed to do the oil change, stating it would take 2 hours & they would text once done. (We usually get an oil change in Tauranga, it takes 20 minutes for under $100, but we decided to go local this time.) 2 hours passed, no text. We returned to garage & were told the car was ready, she just had to get the keys (no mention of why there was no text). We waited a further half hour, only to see her retrieve the car keys from the vehicle to give to another staff member to move the car about 4 feet out into the parking area. She then thanked us for our patience & asked for payment of $277! When we queried why the amount due was so high, she reeled off a massive list of things that the mechanic had allegedly checked on our vehicle, including windscreen wipers, which they said were cracked. Funny considering they were replaced very recently and are definitely NOT cracked!! They also stated that the CB joints are cracked…..they are NOT! I queried why we should pay for all these extras when all we’d requested was an Oil Change? She said this was the “Basic Service” and “that’s how we do things here in New Zealand”. Not impressed, & would NOT recommend to anyone to use these people!!
