Excellent Optometrists. I have been a client for 15 years and have had regular check up and have had new frames and lenses every 2 - 3 years. The staff are always helpful, professional and friendly.
Had a fantastic experience at Specsavers Shirley! Tanya was incredibly helpful, patient, and made the whole process stress-free. Highly recommend this store. She took the time to answer all my questions and gave me great advice when choosing frames. I’ll definitely be coming back here for my future eye care needs.
Highly disappointing service (or should I say lack of) from Specsavers the palms. My daughter tried, tried and tried again to order a speacialty lense( used to treat a diagnosed eye condition) with no avail. 5 times she called over a two day period where no one could be bothered answering the phone. When she did finally get through the receptionist told her that she would speak to the optometrist and call her back. Two days later and no phone call back, she rung again. The receptionist had not even bothered to talk to the optometrist so was told they would this time and call her back but guess what… they still could not pass the message on or call her back. Without this lense my daughter literally can not see. She has since contacted a different optometrist who was more than happy to help her. Nor she or I will be visiting Specsavers again.. hopeless!! Side note: the eye condition she has was diagnosed by Specsavers and she was told by the optometrist that besides wearing this lense nothing else can be done for it. However not true and she now is booked in at chch hospital to have a procedure to stop her eye deterioration. Thanks for nothing Specsavers
I upgraded from normal lenses to progressives. Every member of staff who dealt with me during my 3 recent visits offered nothing but the highest levels of professionalism, and customer centric service. I'd recommend this team to anyone and everyone.
I brought my Daughter in for her first eye exam today and Wow I was not expecting how amazing the team was with young kids . My daughter was treated amazing and we had the most sweetest worker who come and did drawing with my daughter while we waiting for the results. The man who spoke with us about the eye test results was very detailed and double cheeked everything he answered every question we had (again amazing with such a young child) such a wonderful experience
Fantastic job. Fulfilled all my needs & eased my anxiety. Much appreciated for right prescriptions. I gain knowledge about my eyesight & know now what I need for future. Thank U so much

Was talked into getting progressive lenses even although in past they haven't suited my needs. Bought 2 new pairs of glasses and can't see clearly through them. Am using my old glasses. Hope I can get my money back for new ones or have them changed so I can use them.
Got glasses for the first time last week . Had migraines , headaches , blurry vision, sore strained eyes . Went back yesterday and the prescription they had gave me was too strong . Not sure if this happens much but had a pretty distressing 4-5 days till I found this out . The man I saw yesterday who realised this was lovely and very informative. A shame the first person didn’t get it right or offer more information. Staff in general were friendly and helpful . However one young lady I asked a question said she would find out and walked away and never came back .
Friendly and very professional service. Great value for money and a good choice of frames. It is very reassuring to know that if there are any issues with my glasses I have the 3 month time frame to sort it out. Keep up the great work Specsavers Shirley, much appreciated!
