I cannot speak highly enough of my dealings with this law firm, especially with Vanessa Mason. Vanessa volunteered to come to Waikato Hospital late on a Saturday afternoon to see my brother and record what would be his last will. Her dedication and compassion on the day were greatly appreciated.
Save yourself some time and just go to any other lawyers. They intentionally waste time to charge more and don't help or resolve anything
Absolutely crap service. You can expect zero communication despite continued assurances of a call back. When your-dependent on them, they will do nothing but disappoint and fail to deliver so much as a phone call. They seem to be quite happy to engage services despite a clear conflict of interest, perhaps a complaint to the law society might be the way forward. If given the choice, avoid.
I regret engaging Sean Mason Law for legal representation and strongly advise others against doing the same. Despite being aware of the conflict of interest, they proceeded to draft a business agreement for my partner and me, whom they also represented. When disputes arose, my partner disregarded the agreement, and Sean Mason Law failed to intervene effectively. Instead of handling the conflict impartially, they continued representing both parties, allowing my partner to bypass the agreement and communicate directly with my new lawyer. Despite repeated requests from my lawyer to cease contact, Sean Mason Law did not take appropriate action to manage the situation, demonstrating a serious lack of professionalism and competence. Their billing practices were equally disorganized. I paid my portion of the invoice, but Sean Mason Law failed to inform their client, resulting in my partner contacting my new lawyer regarding the unpaid balance. This lack of communication cost me thousands in additional legal fees due to Sean Mason Law's inability to manage their client and advise them appropriately. In summary, Sean Mason Law not only neglected their professional responsibilities but also worsened the conflict and prolonged the resolution process. Their conduct was characterized by inefficiency, ethical negligence, and a disregard for client welfare. For those seeking reliable legal representation, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere to avoid the frustration and financial strain I experienced with Sean Mason Law.
I had the misfortune of using this lawyer, and I advise you not to make the same mistake. This lawyer drafted a business agreement for my business partner and me. Note that he is my business partner's lawyer and still represents him. We both signed the agreement, but my business partner now refuses to follow it. Therefore, I hired a different lawyer. Sean Mason should have stopped representing us at the first sign of dispute but did not. My ex-business partner is now directing all his questions to my lawyer instead of Sean Mason Law. My lawyer has asked Sean Mason Law to contact his client and ask him to stop contacting my lawyer, but it appears this has not happened. It seems either Sean Mason Law is incapable of addressing their clients' concerns or is encouraging their clients to contact the opposing party's lawyer to avoid incurring legal fees.
Thousands spent going back and forth. No real advice given or any direction. This firm were not able to resolve the matter I went to them for ... it cost me an awful lot of money for no progress on the matter and ZERO achieved. I was definitely not a priority client. I found new representation elsewhere and the matter was resolved promptly and professionally.
Was so call supposed to represent me and Was not listening to instructions , end result it cost me , would definitely not recommend
