   Agree with the last review - unsure what the negative reviews are even talking about. I use the postal service very regularly. Always find the woman at the counter very friendly and helpful. Parcels always get to where they are going to!

   Frankly, I am unsure of why so many reviews are negative -- personally I have never once had a problem with sending my mail with them!! Everything they've helped me mail out has reached their intended destinations. The woman at the counter is always very friendly and service is prompt :)

   Zero customer service, rude and dismissive. Told elderly lady to go to the 2 dollar shop and buy some tape as they had none available to tape up her parcel. She had left it open for inspection before sending. Demanding CAPITAL LETTERS on addresses is not a pre requisite for NZPost, legibility can be achieved using lower case!! Just horrendous all round.

   Want to send something? Good luck. Understaffed and always has a note on the door saying they're on break whenever I visit. While I can appreciate people need breaks, need someone to be available during peak times when people are likely to do business with you during your advertised working hours.

   I was waiting to my package to be delivered an I called post office Rototuna an it was a horrible experience all because of one number of my letter box an the driver wouldn’t even turn around to let me prove it’s my house an I can’t even pick up MY OWN PACKAGE!! THAT I PAID FOR!!! Disgusting nz post really is

   I went to NZ Post Shop Rototuna to send a small package via international airmail to Thailand. I filled out the customs declaration and specified that the contents were basic facial skincare products (two tubes of lotion & one small pot of cream salve) all of NZ origin. Much to my dismay the Indian man behind the counter said to me that I needed to fill out a new customs declaration as I had not completed it in a PRINTED format. I told him that he was mistaken because I had PRINTED it out and whether he was able to distinguish between my handwriting and my print instead of being so subjective? He then said that I needed to describe the articles in more detail......?? I explained that I had described the products as requested by NZ Customs, they weren't dangerous goods and my wife had purchased the products from a reputable NZ online company. He persisted in requiring me to prove what type of products they were?? I grabbed my package and the customs declaration form, tired of his insolence and idiocy, and went straight to the NZ Post Shop Chartwell where a lady Lorna took my package and customs declaration form and there were no problem/issues whatsoever!! The Indian man is incompetent, and his conduct reflects very poorly on NZ Post. Don't go there unless you want bad & ill-advised service.

   Unfriendly staff not at all helpful. Indian man just did not want to help at all. Very ignorant, looked very pleased with himself when turning customers away.
