   UNTRUSTWORTHY!!!! WILL DESTROY YOUR LIFE!!!! Extremely discrimatory case workers. I thought I finally found my home for my son and I in the Waikato, we were happy. But because I'm disabled and my son is disabled, they've gone and filed a report of concern with oranga tamarki and destroying my life. I thought I finally found a doctor I could trust when it came to managing my chronic pain, I've never failed a drug test. But because I suffer from ehlers danlos, as does my son, they've made a report of concern because they seem to think a disabled parent can't care for a disabled child. My life has been DESTROYED by Dr Mike and Andy/Andrea. And they've put me in a position where I no longer wish to engage with their service despite suffering from complex regional pain and going without methadone would cause extreme physical pain due to CRPS and ehlers danlos. I've been through enough trauma, the Waikato was meant to be a fresh start, we finally felt at home here. They've now robbed me of that, my career is going to be destroyed and I'm going to lose my support system because of their actions. I had a bad experience with CADS auckland and thought finally, I had a doctor and case worker I could trust. Now my life has been ruined. All because I'm a disabled mother caring for a disabled son. I'm not even an addict, I was put on methadone for chronic pain in the US. Never failed a drug test or caused any issues. And because I'm distressed about the poor access to medical care for people with EDS, they're filing a report of concern which will lead to my son being uplifted..... absolutely discrimination at its finest. If you have kids, be extremely cautious engaging with CADS. They're untrusty worthy and could end up destroying your life. My 8 year old is so terrified he's barricaded our front door because of what he heard from Dr Mike and Andy and didn't even give me the opportunity to prove I have a support system in place and I still have the ability to care for my son. So what, is every disabled parent going to get their child taken away when their child's health declines? That seems to be the case here. And they did this to us 2 days before Christmas. At least give your patients the opportunity to prove they have a support system before destroying every aspect of their lives?

   I phoned up for a family member in crisis and was sighed at by reception who seemed inconvenienced at me asking who I could talk to to help my family member, the person I got through to was extremely snarky to me when I asked what the best way was to contact them should this family member need to talk, and not one person could tell me the safety plan or any helpful contacts for my family member who I was extremely concerned for their wellbeing (recent attempt and other big concerns for their safety). If this is how people get treated, it's no wonder NZ has a mental health crisis going on. I'm really disgusted.

   The methadone maintenance team in Hamilton CONSTANTLY make up rules as the go. I is disgusting that they can do this. They Lie to there clients. The lack of trust is so sad. This clinic needs to be turned over to people that are professional and trustworthy. FACTS

   Either your to unwell for help, or to well for help. Which is it? Where's the middle ground where you go for help these days. for so long they preach knowing your early warning signs. I did but there was nothing they could do or wiling to do. I got told about respite one day, the next they had to leave itbfor those who really needed it. With that logic how often does it stay empty.

   Update took six months to be taken seriously in medication withdrawal ended up in Henry Bennett instead making me better made me worse put me on Wellbutrin even though it bad for ppl with anexity and ocd and max dose no less ..I just needed a safe space to stay through withdrawal. Phycologist just gave me the same cbt advice over and over and wouldn't go to a place that explained why cbt not working if it not meds or there way they don't care No wonder mental is so bad in nz and look at all the one startl reviews Seem to be never acute enough to be seen even when my anexity is sky high for months and taking benzo daily to cope . Took month and months of phone calls and nagging to be seen with no real outcome and the letter I was given by dr half of what he said was not actually what I said showing he didn't listen at all. Asked for a slow cut down of meds I got the opposite. Mental health system so broken and feel get treated like a pain .

   Some of the workers are lovely but overall this place is pretty horrendous. I’ve been with them on and off for 10 years and they, particularly the psychiatrists, tend to treat you like you’re overreacting about your mental health problems. They assign you lazy, dodgy psychologists that aren’t very well adjusted themselves, and you’re never taken seriously until you’re in the middle of actually committing suicide. The building is disgusting and not taken care of. You are cattle stock to them, they just want to tick you off the list and discharge you asap whether you’re healthy or not. Now that I can afford it I’m paying for proper mental health care, I’d advise the same to anyone who can. I have very little respect for this place.

   Was left and “forgotten” in the waiting room for an hour. The women doing my assessment compared her child’s stomach bug to my 15 month long chronic IBS and her best recommendation to suicidal thoughts was to splash cold water on my face. Follow up phone call showed she didn’t talk to my GP or mother like she stated she would and best course of action is to see carry on seeing my GP. Sickening service.

   Please explain to me via email why my son was refused to see his gp on several occasions when the judge directed his key worker Mariah/Maria to support my son in seeing his gp and physicatrist for a review to lessen his medication that ultimately having adverse effects and harming him. Your London team put a well boy into Henry Bennett mental health Hospital for no good reason. I witnessed what awhina whanau and his father did to my Son.

   On behalf of this rating is . Depression and anxiety disorders are not treated with a high standard. I posting on behalf of a friend who used this service and felt worse every time. This friend was given the wrong treatment plan with know thought given. Lacking was support for her environment needs and her rural lifestyle. Which caused her depression anxiety. Because of her I've gone and gained qualifications in mental health level 3. Thanks to my tutor teaching I have some idea with this
