   We just had the team from Total Care Removals in and can’t thank the boys enough for the perfect move. Nothing was a problem a 5 bedroom house and all the gear out within a couple of hours first day, stored overnight and came back next day to take any boxes we had packed up ourselves and then delivered to new home for us. Awesome work guys 5 star would highly recommend the team at Total Care Removals thank you for making it easy for us Julia and Simon Austin

   Excellent moving company. Everything from providing the quote, to booking the truck and crew and moving day was easy and stress free. Option for moving insurance was provided but not forced when declined. Truck and crew arrived on time. The crew are very obliging, friendly, professional and efficient. All 3 crew members worked quickly and as a team to load and unload the truck. Most importantly, nothing was lost or broken.

   Had Total Care Removals who also operate as Christchurch Removals, booked to arrive between 11:30am - 1:30pm to move our large furniture only to our new house. By 2:15pm nobody had arrived so gave them a call. Was given a mobile phone number for Brandon & was told to leave a text if I got no answer. After about 1/2 an hour he got back to me saying the movers were busy as the job booked before was bigger than they had expected. Advised they would be about another 1.5 hours from arriving. He was of course apologetic. Movers finally arrived after 4pm. Very frustrating as had a carpet cleaner booked for 3:30pm & had to send them away as they couldn't wait. Had paid a deposit to carpet cleaner which wasn't refundable due to cancellation of less than 24 hrs notice. New owner of our house taking possession of our house the following afternoon so not possible to rebook. Movers themselves were ok, nothing got damaged. All in all not a good experience & would not use this company again.

   I had a brilliant experience with the Total Care Removals team. Communication was great from quote to booking to post-move, and the movers themselves packed up my flat with great efficiency and care. It was also terrific that they came back to pick up the boxes and packing paper to reuse once I'd fully unpacked – far better environment-wise, but also saving me a couple of trips to the recycling centre. Super nice, reliable, professional operation. Thanks team.
