They had great live music, and they even came around with snacks which I thought was great. Was a great Sunday afternoon. Will definitely be back
Regular pub meal. Mussels were very good. Only order the full rack of pork ribs if you are very hungry, or else dont have a starter. The squid starter was good though.
I use to buy the takeaway sunday at 5 stags thats quite impressive and good. Today id my birthday, and wanted to celebrate with this, and this is what they gave me with a waitwr making snarky comment that they dont usually do this. As much as we like them don't think we'll be going to 5-Stags again.
There were 15 of us. Got a platter and pizza. Everything was good though we did have to pay $4 for a weeny tub of garlic butter which with what we spent on the drinks and food perhaps could have been complimentary.
WOW!!! This was my first visit to 5 Stags and was a bit reticent as had read some of the bad reviews. I cannot disagree more strongly. Yesterday I met with friends for lunch and was immediately impressed with the decor.The service was incredible, patient and quick. My meal was so large I took some home for tea, It was delicious and hot. The drinks were extremely well priced, I felt and generous. We had a lovely, relaxing catch-up and I shall definitely go again. Thank you to the friendly staff. Keep up the amazing service.
Had a wonderful meal of fish 'n chips here accompanied by a delicious, homemade coleslaw. I had a Virgin Mojito with watermelon syrup which was refreshing and flavourful. Add to this the friendly, smiling wait staff and it was a 5 star experience for me. Thank you!
5 stars for met expectations. My wife and I decided we just wanted good no nonsense food for dinner and that's exactly what we got. Steak, chips and salad and fish and chips with a cold one in a good atmosphere. We both left our table feeling great and the food was nicely cooked. The two ladies that served us were delightful, helpful, friendly. Will definitely return. Thanks.
Good pub food but don't expect anything more. Prices are good for what you get. A few very young kids running around ( could have done without that) Loved the live music, we'll go back just for the music
My partner, our 11 month old and I enjoyed lunch here. Impressed with every aspect, even the highchair was spotless. Great, easy going feeling, staff who did their job and let us enjoy our meal, which we both agree was fantastic. Looking forward to our next date here, and our daughter loved it too.
