A great place to roll and learn. Welcoming and kind crew. I visited a lunchtime session and it was perfect for a mid-day short Jits session. Clean facilities. They are moving just around the corner, so they may not look exactly like my photos, but definitely check them out!
Axis BJJ have an awesome team of instructors and all the members are extremely friendly. I was super nervous going into my first trial class but everyone was so welcoming. Now I have about 4-5 months of experience training BJJ and have been a member at Axis since I started My BJJ journey. If you’re wanting to join a gym or start your BJJ journey would highly recommend This gym.
These guys are absolutely amazing. Going to a BJJ gym you never know what you are going to get, a kind gym or a gym filled with ego. This gym was one of the nicest gyms I’ve ever been to. The facility is clean, and well maintained (with amazing art too!). We visited from the United States and we were welcomed as if we’ve been training there for years. Zach was the coach for the night and he couldn’t have been nicer, and he was pretty funny too, with loads of talent to share. The class we attended was absolutely amazing and we had a great time. If you’re searching for a gym, or want to train while away from home, this is the place to go. Thank you guys again for making us feel at home, and for giving us a place to train the sport we love.
Trained here for a week while travelling through. Had a great time and learned a lot. Everybody was super nice and welcoming and the timetable allowed me to train everyday.
Axis is a friendly, welcoming gym. Their instructors are down-to-earth and approachable and there are no big egos which I think is really important. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn BJJ in a supportive environment.
Highly recommend ⭐ Been training here for almost 2 years. The coaches are patient and super knowledgeable and the gym has a friendly atmosphere with people training from all different walks of life. For people looking for a bit of self defense to those looking to seriously compete, this place caters for all.
Great place to train. Professional but relaxed, great community. What I really appreciate as a beginner is the humility of the instructors and the lack of ego across the board of all members. Great culture of higher belts patiently taking the time to help lower belts learn.
A friend and I stopped by this gym for a class. The coach Sam made us feel very welcome and took the time to coach us just as much as his regular students. When rolling at the end of class, I found the other students to be very friendly and considerate training partners whilst having fantastic intensity and technical skill. Really enjoyed the visit, thanks guys.
