   I bought a pair of Stranger Things pj's for our granddaughter prior to Christmas, but they turned out to be the wrong size. I rang the team on New Year's Day and despite how busy they were, they couldn't have been more helpful. They grabbed the size I wanted, put them aside for me and when I got there, as they were now on sale, they credited the difference back into our account. Many thanks for making things so easy.

   This store looks super nice! It’s big, well stocked and has a massive range of items. However, I did notice that the manager wasn’t very kind in the way she spoke to some of the workers, particularly the newer casuals. From a customers perspective, it was a bit disheartening to see and left me feeling bad for the worker. I also think some items are placed awkwardly in the store, such as the glasshouse candles, as you have to block one of the checkouts to smell them.

   We went in on midday Thursday and we were greeted by every single worker. Amazing service especially but the check blondie who offered to wrap out Father’s Day present and just went the extra mile for us. Really recommend + tidy store

   Fabulous service today from the staff at Peter Alexander. One of the ladies hand stitched a hole in the sleeve of a dressing gown where the piping had not been attached properly. I didn't want a refund as they had sold out of the dressing gown and Lynette offered her sewing service. She did an amazing job. Thank you girls.

   Went here yesterday and couldn't look around the store without being followed and talked to. There were plenty of staff and not so many customers when I went in, so it was really discriminating being brown skinned and having this experience here and being the first time there as I had said to the staff member. Would definitely recommend Hornby Peter Alexander. Although it is an outlet store, the customer service there is much better

   Peter Alexander Riccarton has pretty s#$t customer service (18/07/2019). I walked in with my son who I was pushing in a pram. Two workers were just chatting away by one of the tables; Completely ignoring me. However one lady behind the counter did see me and greeted me from the otherside of the store. But back to the employees chatting. I was going to the back of the store where the kids section is. And as I was approaching the woman talking I said "excuse me" loud enough and politely for them to hear and the woman I was trying to get past clearly looked at me and didn't acknowledge me at all or bother moving and kept talking and didn't step aside at all. I did get past by tilting the pram slightly and squeezing through bumping a corner. To add as I was leaving the store a few minutes later, 2 older woman walked in and they got smiles and greeted politely from the RUDE woman that still stood around the table chatting away. Would have given the store a better rating for its presentation and the pretty smell when you walk in but definitely not after that experience. Customer service is a big thing when it comes to retail and this store possibly just on the day, lacked every part of customer service.
