   Christchurch club is typical NZ ex gentlemen’s club. Because of the earthquake some years ago, all the facilities are up to date. It has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff make you welcome. There are dress codes to keep some of the standards, but not over the top. All in all a very pleasant experience to stay there.

   Fantastic historical building for events. Sadly there is no air conditioning and therefore it’s very uncomfortable during warmer months.

   The classic, exclusive club with history oozing from every wall. Great service and attention to detail. The biggest disappointment was the food. During our conference the portions were measly and the preparation was perfunctory. The banquet was underwhelming and unimaginative. There's a remarkable disjoint between the class of the club and the quality of the food.

   Lovely room & staff on 30/11. Well met and welcomed. With excellent bar service. Nothing too much trouble and a well equipped fitness center made for a pleasant stay.

   Excellent private members club that has really turned itself out well since a significant renovation. The bones of the old club remain ensuring a brilliantly Old World charm made better with expansive sitting areas and dining suits in the new additions. An impressive billiards room with purpose-built, high spectator couches, and a fresh new tennis court mean that club members are treated to all degrees of sport. Accommodation in what feels like a beautifully turned out home is available for club members and their guests. Wines and beers available match New Zealand’s strong offerings on both. The kitchen turns out delicious takes on traditional Kiwi dishes, a garlic-covered barbecue lamb was exceptionally good when we passed through. Go here for a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle, and enjoy lounging quietly to get through the harder points in your day. Excellent.
