   An action-packed treasure hunt (masquerading as a clothing store) for those into Vintage and Second-hand Designer clothing. So many lovely pieces, with a high stock rotation! It’s often a challenge not to walk out with a pretty decent haul of clothing… I’ve been known to be leaving, and something else has caught my eye and so back into the changing-rooms I go!! With wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful staff, Kim has assembled a dream-team! The culture of the store is so lovely and supportive. It’s noticeable the customers often like to chat and become acquainted with one another. This store has helped me to expand both my fashion knowledge and wardrobe! Easily one of the best locations in Downtown Mount Maunganui!

   Awesome shop! Can get some great rehomed one off and quirky clothing pieces plus shoes and accessories. Service great too. Only slight complaint would be the clothes are a bit pricey so shop here with that in mind. Also not sure if these funds go to a charity at all? Are pieces donated? I don't know. Will ask next time I go because this store is one of my favs in the BOP.

   Probably the best designer second hand clothing, shoes, bags etc shop in NZ! Incredible range of NZ labels plus overseas. Lots of treasures! Worth a special trip to the Mount. Wonderful helpful staff.

   Each time I’ve come into NineLives I have found something I can’t live without and its always felt like a private shopping styling session. The staff know what they are doing and I always have a ball! The Mount doesn’t have many options for curated vintage and they nail it!

   Not a good visit today. Wasn't acknowledged by staff instead got glared at and looked up and down. I witnessed a shop attendant ask rudely what size a lady is when she couldn't fit an item and loudly repeated her size back to her..... the customers whole demeanor changed and said she wasn't interested in trying anything else on and quickly retreated..... made me feel uncomfortable as well and not want to try anything on.

   I went here over the weekend and the staff were not attentive at all. Not one of the two girls working acknowledged the few of us that came into the store and instead stood behind the counter gossiping... overheard them poking fun at a customer who wasn’t able to fit an item and also turned another customer away because nothing fitted her. Super underwhelming service. Clothes weren’t bad but at the end of the day I wouldn’t want to support a bunch of woman who are tearing down other woman as opposed to lifting them up like you should be doing when working this kind of establishment. Unfollowed on social media and won’t be back.
