Beautiful experience with the Bethlehem Birthing Centre. Such a calming transition staying with them and we had so much relief having the support of the lovely midwives and nurses. Rooms are spacious, very clean and the food is delicious. Now driving past, I smile remembering our time with them!

Had a great experience at BBC! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would like to especially thank midwife Zoe β she was amazing! I was having trouble with breastfeeding, and she quickly figured out what was causing the latching issue and gave me a solution that really helped. This was my second baby; with my first, I gave birth in a hospital and couldnβt get him to breastfeed. But this time, Iβm exclusively breastfeeding β all thanks to Zoe! Apart from that, the food options were great and really tasty too.

Those midwives are angels. So kind, supportive and helpful! I had my daughter just gone a year ago and still remember all their faces. It was our first baby and new to everything and they explained things to us so well. I recommend this place to all I can!

What a terrific birth experience it was at the Bethlehem Birthing Centre! It definitely largely contributed to my great memories from this special time. First of all, water immersion helped me a lot and almost every room there is equipped with a bath. Rooms are cozy and quiet, staff is very nice and helpful (especially the lady who brings you meals - the loveliest person!), food is amazing. Pounamu blade is available for cutting the umbilical cord (highly recommend), you can buy a muka pito tie there (harakeke woven tie) and use it instead of a plastic cord clamp. Pads, nappies and wipes are available for bubs and mamas. Breakfasts are available starting from late nights so mamas can eat whenever they want and need some nourishment. I recommend the BBC to anyone, I wish more women were choosing birthing centres as it impacts birth in a very positive way. Thank you for having us, you're great!

I began my labour at the birthing centre in hopes of having a water birth, the room was spacious and comfortable with a large bath. Due to circumstances I had to transfer to the hospital which even tho I was in pain didnβt feel like a big trip to get there, it took 5 minutes max. I returned to the centre and spent two nights to recover with my partner and baby these two nights were crucial for us to be able to ease into understanding the needs of our baby and not stress about anything else. The team over the days and nights were amazing, all so kind and caring. They were very accommodating and willing to help/answer any questions we had. They provided breakfast, lunch and dinner for me and these meals were delicious cafe style nourishing foods! We left feeling so lucky and grateful for our stay. I would 100% recommend to all mΔmΔs to consider staying at the birthing centre. Thank you to the team for such a wonderful experience.

Amazing place, Midwives are super knowledgeable and helpful, food is so yummy. Itβs like βhome away from homeβ. My husband and I are thoroughly enjoying our stay here - so much so, that weβve actually extended our stay by an extra night.

Thank you to all the wonderful staff who cared for me during my stay. What a lovely place to give birth! The food was excellent. It was so nice having my husband stay with me for the first night. The rooms are spacious and private. The staff are always there if needed. Thank you for allowing me unhurried time to bond with my baby before heading home!
