   Got my screen replaced on my shitty old oppo A58 by these guys, they came in $50 bucks cheaper than a comparable shop in hornby, the service and communication were excellent, and I repair machines for a living and know how important it is to keep the customer in the loop. No driving to hornby, no tearing the hair out finding a park, no traffic, a good wee business that just fixes broken stuff without the razzmatazz, that is local, and I like that. They even straightened out the phone after a year jammed in the jeans, cleaned the case, for $120 + GST, and believe you me I abuse cellphones as a tradesman. They are Just a walk away from the new world and the coffee shop, and well worth a visit if you've got buggered tech that needs repairs. A.

   Had a battery replaced in my daughter's iPhone 5 months ago for $105 but, over the last few months the battery has been rapidly degrading. Took it back to the shop, with the receipt, and they confirmed the battery was 'faulty'. They only cover their components for 3 months. So what am I to do, pay $100 every 5-6 moths for a new battery? Have brought a lot of business to this shop over the years so I am quite disappointed to say the least.

   WINZ APPROVED REPAIRER: Awesome experience. Being on a sickness benefit (unable to work at present) and new to Christchurch I really need my laptop (which suddenly stopped working 2 years ago)... I phoned 'Tech Expert' to ask if they accept WINZ (Work and Income) payments (which they DID) and they fixed my laptop a lot sooner than expected!    Excellent service! My son's PS4 crashed and they repaired it, it crashed again and they repaired it, finally it fully crashed and they put in a second hand hard drive...... but didn't charge me much since I'd paid for the first two repairs. I really appreciated this as they could have charged me large for the hard drive but appreciated the fact I had already spent quite a lot, very honest and the PS4 hasn't missed a beat!
