Harvey has helped me a lot over the last 5 years, I met Harvey in 2019 and since then I have always gone when I need to, he is an experienced professional, I highly recommend him.
Thinking about 2023 and the things and people I met and was grateful for, I could not think about Harvey. Last year at the beginning of January, the horrible Covid struck me badly leaving me tired and shocked.Β At the end of March, I was still struggling with the outcomes and one, it was a strong inflammation to the left side of my head which made me scared and depressed waking me up at night in pain and worried. I went to my GP several times, including blood tests,Β new glasses,Β hearing tests, and eye tests and finally, the optometrist suggested a biopsy of my temporal vein giving me lots of painkillers that were very ineffective. It was just for a chance that during a meeting a person saw me in pain taking pain relief. This person mentioned Harvey to me and what he was capable of. I took his number quite sceptic as I never had an acupuncture treatment before. On Saturday, the pain was excruciating.Β The hospital at this point would have been the only solution but I wanted to try the last option and give myself the last chance before going there. I texted Harvey and he replied to me in a few hours. He was very busy and he asked me to come on Sunday just for this emergency because he did not work on that day. I was feeling very bad I replied to him I would have tried to resist.Β After a couple of hours, he texted me back saying that he would have found the time to see me later in the afternoon. My first thought was that he had compassion reading my messages. The unbelievable thing was that he replied to me something like "ok come over, I see what is wrong with you and I will fix it". I was still very sceptical. In the middle of the afternoon, my head was like a pin holder but I was feeling so bad that I didn't have any fear. I wanted to trust him and I needed help. At the end of the session, he asked me how I was feeling and unfortunately, nothing had changed.Β He reassured me saying: don't worry from tomorrow you will get better day by day and asked me to follow some instructions on food. He was super sure that I would have been better and that the problem was a nerve. Probably the trigeminal, I think after I had done research and heard the word "nerve" mentioned by him for the first time during that long period. On Sunday, I slept all day long.Β I had some many sleepless nights since January that I was exhausted because I could not have a night without pain. I cannot thank enough Harvey for bringing me back to life! From Tuesday (I remember this date very well) everything started to go back to normal and in a few days I was the happiest woman. He also texted me several times to follow the improvements and he didn't want to see me for another session because he said the one he did, was enough to fix my problem. Usually,Β I don't do reviews but reflecting on the past year how can I forget such an amazing blessing? I recommend Harvey 100 per cent as aΒ very capable intuitive and reliable acupuncturist in Christchurch! Thank you again!!!
I wish I knew about Harvey Wang a long time ago! A single one hour treatment cleared up multiple problems that I have been suffering from for years. What I thought were post concussion symptoms turned out to be consequences of other things out of balance in my body, one treatment and some Chinese medicine and I feel a million times better. Harvey is a kind, calm and very talented, experienced healer who will help you find your healthy self. Thank you Harvey!
First time having proper accupuncture so don't know to compare to others but was a great experience. I have a lot of back pain and after a session here the pain was gone - not permanently I was not expecting that - i will definitely be back
Never met someone who is super rude to his customers for coming 20 mins earlier than the appointment. Instead of offering a seat in waiting area he shows his phone saying you are 20 mins earlier look at the time and shut the door on face. We decided not to go for a massage because of his behaviour and left the place . He called after 20 mins asking if we are coming then we said no .. he said ok fine donβt come. I wanted to give zero rating though Anyways .. totally ruined our day as we wanted to have relaxing massage after tiring weekend at work .. regret booking with him .. never again
I was desperate for a treatment for my aim, and it's great to find this place still opened on Saturday! Harvey explained well about the root of my pain, which was my shortage of sleep. I had 1 hour treatment at his place, then go back home and follow his advice of eating habit and sleep. I feel better and better each day. If you are suffering a pain, don't hesitate to visit this place, I'm sure Chinese method will help you out.
