    They’re never open for fried chicken and chips… don’t open on the weekends (super strange) and close before 5pm during the week. Major fail for Country Fried Chicken. Staff are lovely on the dairy side but management seems to be lacking as a whole.

    I recently tried the fried chicken from this place in Faringdon, and I have to say, the reviews on Google don't match my experience at all. The chicken I received this month tasted like it had been fried in very old oil, with an unpleasant, greasy aftertaste. The color of the chicken was a lot darker than I expected, definitely not that nice golden brown you’d expect from fresh fried chicken. Honestly, it didn't live up to the hype, and I’ve had better fried chicken at home. It’s definitely not the best in Rolleston, and I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience. The glowing reviews here are definitely misleading.

    Helpful, friendly staff. Superb Range of staple foods, necessities, stationary, lollies, drinks, Including Asian speciality goods, spices, hot pot ingredients, drinks, noodles. Fried chicken outlet is Superb! I cannot stress how good it is, I've only had equal at expensive restaurants if that. Post service works well. Compared to other "standard typical nz dairies" that I'm used to this place is a well stocked treasure to have in Faringdon! 6/22

    Great little store. Staff are always friendly. Excellent range of food and stationery supplies. So handy being able to pick up and post courier packages here. Haven't tried their fried chicken yet but everyone reckons it's the best locally.
