   My partner and I stayed here for one night as part of our North Island trip of New Zealand, and it was brilliant. Paul checked us in to our room, very nice and friendly welcome from him. The room we had was fantastic. Very spacious and cosy. Had all the facilities which was brilliant. Very clean bathroom and kitchen areas. The bed was comfortable to sleep on. Even have you own dedicated parking space for the room number you have which was very good. Absolutely brilliant stay, it was a shame we were there just for one night. Checked out the following morning where we met Carole. Lovely lady very friendly and nice. The location was very good as you are 10-15 casual walk from restaurants. Definitely recommend staying here to anyone and i would definitely stay here again as we both loved Taupo.

   We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for 3 nights recently and it was great. The apartment was spacious, clean and ideal for our needs. The private spa & heated pool were neat. Walking distance to Taupo central and the local market.

   We stayed in a one-bedroom suite that was so spacious, modern and clean. Paul and Carol were exceptional hosts and very informative. We rented the free bikes to get into town which was very close. The pool was heated which was nice. Daily housekeeping service offered. Overall we will absolutely be back to stay again soon.

   We just spent an amazing weekend at The Village Resort. They really have thought of everything when setting up these rooms for a comfortable stay. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The beds were super comfy with extra blankets, pillows , electric blankets provided. Great location with being only a 10 min walk into town. We will definitely be back!

   10 minute walk to town centre. Views of the lake. Really roomy 2 bedroom apartment with super comfy additional pull down bed in the lounge. There were bikes to use for free as well as tennis rackets for the court for free use and really friendly welcome and staff. The heated pool was great even in the middle of winter and nice spa with lake view. We were really happy with the resort.

   Stayed here with a big group of friends for a birthday party. Rooms were amazing. Lots of space, clean and comfortable. Staff we amazing. Loved the spa room with the lake view. Will definitely be back.

   Absolutely stunning place to stay very friendly host. Family friendly had all amenities Hot pool and hot tub playground for kids and bbq area. We had a family unit that had everything full kitchen washing machine dryer. Very happy will stay again .

   Really decent sized, modern 1 bedroom apartment with a super comfortable folddown bed that neatly tucks away into a cupboard in the living room, with doors that close off to the dining and kitchen space. Ideal for 2 couples or family. 5 min walk to the Brantry restaurant which is a 5 star, intimate, 3 course fine dining experience. Town is an easy 12 min walk away, and it's right opposite the lake - lovely spot! We'd stay again thank you!
