Very poor customer service and communication. Extremely grumpy bus drivers. Won't use again.

Intercity have a very friendly and efficient service. They deliver very professionally and very in all my contact with them they have always offered great quality in every interaction. Having coming from a background of 30 year's plus in customer service experience, this company provides what's required to meet the requirements and demands of the organisation through their approach to the job they do day to day. It is with pleasure that I would highly commend and recommend a company that you would expect a high quality level of service thst exceeds all expectations. Thank you Immensely Intercity for such a fantastic experience.

Beware of arrogant and ignorant drivers on this line they think it's cool to intimidate my 13 year old son and grandmother who took him to the bus stop. The driver was rude to my son as he got on the bus saying hes taking too long but the bus was actually early rushed my son on to the bus and he couldn't find a bus seat. My nan went to get a board to help him find a seat and the bus driver shut the door in her face and drove off while my son was still standing wondering where to sit which was very dangerous. He experienced an uncomfortable and awkward bus ride all the way back to Taupo and a bad ending to what was a good holiday. I do not reccomend this service and will not he using it again.

Air conditioning isnβt working and entire bus is suffering, sweating in the summer heat. Driver is kind but admits that it wasnβt working yesterday either. This isnβt feasible with no windows to open for a 4.5 hour trip from Kerikeri to Auckland.

Fantastic and cheap way to get from city to city! They have great technology where they have all your details digitally so you donβt need to bring your ticket or booking number with you. And one of my busses was delayed so they sorted out the transfers exceptionally well.... Due to the nature of busses I wouldnβt advise cutting it super close with the airport. I did notice this stress a lot of people out. The drivers are hit and miss. Some were absolutely lovely while most were rather grumpy!

No air conditioning (or air at all) - passengers complaining about the heat and resulting body odour issues is deeply unpleasant, drivers using cell phones whilst driving, random stops in the middle of nowhere to swap drivers and overall rudeness of drivers towards passengers makes this a dire experience for anyone unfortunate enough to use it. Shame as this is a vital part of our tourist industry and is an awful reflection on NZ. Easy to see how so many accidents can occur when the operator is so sloppy and standards seem to be slipping with their drivers. Have used this service or sent parents / nephews between Hamilton and Hastings a number of times however I shall not be sending anyone soon on this service again.
