We used this accountancy service for a couple of years but not any more. You need to pay for your work 12 months in advance and the payment includes a meeting with the account at the end of the year. A couple of times they advised us that we would not need to meet the accountant after this part of the service had been charged and paid. We would turn up for our booked meeting on time and invariably have to wait up to 30 minutes before Lance was available. Doesn't he know how to use a calendar or are we to unimportant for him to meet on time? We felt this was extremely rude on his part, we always made the effort to be on time and then had to sit in a room unattended till he finally sauntered in. The last year we were with them the accounts were not completed on time. We had to remind them a number of times. We noted a number of apology letters sent out to clients after that year so we assume we were not the only client they stuffed around. You vote with your feet. These guys are not the only accountants around and our new accountant in papamoa is more on the ball, more cost effective and charges for work done after it is done with an invoice detailing work done.
