The Indian lady at counter!!! She needs to go!!!! So dam rude!!!! I needed some help to send a parcel to USA. She decided to help someone else when I was already standing at counter.!!!!! Please if thats the customer service shes going to deliver, please people go elsewhere where you'll feel like you'll be looked after and with good service!!! What a shame!!!!

TΔnΔ koutou. I was at the post office a few weeks ago wanting to send a package to Ireland. The woman at the counter was very blunt and a little rude but I put it down to them having a bad day. She said she could not ship my package because it required a tariff number. She did not bother to explain what that was and coldly passed my package back. I asked her for more details - what that number was and if this was just needed for Ireland and her answers were very short and unhelpful. She also seemed surprised I had questioned her. I have just got the tariff number myself. She could have been ten times more helpful and easily searched a tariff number up for me on the computer she stood behind but she made me go home and do it myself. This is not the first time I have been served at this post office by South East Asian people working and have been treated poorly and talked down to by staff as if it is a hassle for them to serve me - seemingly because I am Black and dark skinned. I do not notice this when white people or lighter skinned people are being served or when I have been served by other workers. There was also another man working potentially of the same descent who was the person who treated me poorly last time. This actually stops me from going to the closest post office in my area as a small business owner. Papakura is a very multicultural community - not a colorist society. Please do better and train your staff members to not adhere to racism. They should not be doing customer service if they are uncomfortable with serving any kind of peoples. This is not good enough. Its not the shop however the delivery drivers of papakura , they dont ring the bell and throw and kick the parcel .not happy with the service what if there is fragile item

I've had a parcel requiring pickup for 8 days and no-one seems to want to go pick it up, how does the courier go that long without grabbing it and how does the office staff go that long without telling the courier to do their job. I'd understand missing a parcel 1 day because your busy but 6 days (not including the weekend). That's ridiculous and apparently on par for this branch going off of reviews.

Had a very bad experience at this place. The lady at the counter was very rude, unhelpful and disinterested. It seemed like a big favour from her to answer some basic questions. Had to ask multiple times to get answers. While we were there, she started serving another customer. That customer was a really lovely lady and requested that we be served first as we'd been there for a while. It's only then that she came back to us again. If there was a zero star for customer service, I would've given that.

Made a mistake but the guy at the counter was really cool about it and said don't worry it happens. I don't know his name but his ethnicity appears to be Indian. Thank you so much for being really kind. Shout-out to NZ Post for choosing the right people for the job!

I went to post a lot of Christmas cards and parcels and I asked for one in particular to be tracked so paid for a tracked bag. Asked for the tracking details and was told βitβs on the receiptβ and asked to move out of the shop so the next person could come in (COVID restrictions). I got home to see there is no tracking details on my receipt, so rung the post shop who once again told me βitβs on the receiptβ I told him it was not and was told βoh well nothing else I can doβ. The item has not arrived and it was a Xmas gift worth around $100 and I cannot track or claim compensation due to lack of a tracking number. Terrible service.

30.09.12 - Customer service very poor - even though it is Covid L3 and stock may be low, friendly customer service should be maintained. Was needing a large envelope to send documents to Greenlane - an $8 plastic envelope was all they had, with the lady behind the desk being quite cold. Not a good experience.
