As a visitor and a traveler on that day, I felt safe walking in that store and not being discriminated or harassed. Food is tasty and shop keepers are friendly. Very helpful and knowledgeable of the area when we asked directions.
Good stop if youβre after a dairy or fish & chips
Unfriendly Indian woman at the counter, I didn't feel welcome there. I got fish and chips for $9, that tasted nice, but it's unlikely I'll return.

Lovely friendly staff. Plenty of room to stop with a horse float attached. Can recommend the lime thickshakes!
Nice little shop. I was able to buy fresh Gisborne oranges. Just across the road is the lake. The owner is very friendly .
Coffee was OK. Really beautiful place to stop for a break.
