Went in for the first time today, excellent. A small wait, thatβs probably a good sign, it appears thereβs a lot of βregularsβ, meaning, this is the place if youβre after a great barber. Very happy with the cut, Iβll definitely be back.

10/10 everytime I go. Always a clean and welcoming shop. Wabi takes alot of pride in his work and it's always a good chat when sitting in the chair.
2nd attempt at sons first haircut at this place. Too long of a wait first time so we got there 15 mins before open time saturday with 1 person already waiting at the door. Doors got unlocked and after the first guy got his trim you would think we would be next, no! 1.5 hours of waiting and them taking 4 other people that arrived after us, and a tired and hungry toddler who was over waiting. We walked out. Wont go back,
Wow, what a find. Visiting Matamata and in need of a haircut, Uncle Google directed me to the Ace of Blades Barbers. I was not disappointed. No appointments, walk in and sit, and wait your turn. While the wait at that time was longish .... it was well worth it. Got the chance to listen to some good music, good conversation, and watch two craftsmen at work. Also, when it became my time, I got the best haircut I've had in years. NgΔ mihi guys. Totally recommend you to others. So, if in Matamata or passing thru, stop in for a haircut, you won't be disappointed.
