   The phone service is total rubbish and the Receptionist is the most arrogant and unfriendly person who could ever come across. I dont know where they got her from but she needs to go to Customer Service school. The ridiculous time it takes to call Burwood Health is ridiculous and the continuous messages you get which can hardly be heard is so annoying. Very regretting joing this Health provider. Customer service is zero. Get a new receptionist.

   It’s such a shame because my experiences with the doctors at this practice are absolutely amazing, but when it comes to the receptionists I honestly couldn’t say anything too exciting. Not to long ago I had an appointment booked in for my infant child to get their first immunisations done, I also had a doctors appointment beforehand as my child needed to be checked first before seeing the nurse. I have recently moved and had to make a long drive first thing in the morning for this appointment and had my husband take the day off of work too (which is fine). Upon my arrival I am told that the doctor I was booked to see was off due to sickness (super understandable). But then had one of the receptionists turn to me and say “we did ring all patients booked with her to let them know yesterday that she wouldn’t be in today”. This I was not aware of and had received no phone call or text whatsoever, even though my phone number is on file and I was one of the first patients she had that day. I understand that sometimes it can be missed or a mistake, but the receptionists working were not at all remorseful and acted as if they didn’t care that I wasn’t told and laughed it off like it was a funny joke. Being a young mother with an infant child, this was not at all laughable and left me extremely upset and frustrated. It’s also nearly impossible to speak to one of the receptionists as she comes off as incredibly slow and doesn’t seem to know what she’s doing. As well as another receptionist is rude, doesn’t listen to what you’re needing help with and talks over you during phone calls when you’re trying to book appointments. On countless occasions I’ve just gone without due to not feeling comfortable enough to speak to a receptionist as they make you feel like it’s a huge chore for them to help you. Again, it is a shame because the doctors and nurses here have always given me a fantastic experience however I think the reception team could definitely do with a lot of improvement.

   How long do you need to get the phone through to reception. Also: the music is way too much/loud. You cannot hear the person on the other end to make a choice when it's finally your turn to act/talk. However. The doctors I have seen have always been good. I have been a patient for over 30 years. Shifting premises has not been a positive move for my family. These days I seldom need to go to the doctor, so I tend to put my visits off unless I feel I am due for a visit. I do realize that the health services are not their best at the moment. B

   Takes them a very long time to answer their phones. Have waited as long as 30 mins before & needing to give up. Currently waiting 15 mins. Please assist them with getting more receptionists. I always have to chase and ask for results. After a medical procedure is it not common for a Dr to call you with results anymore?

   I'm a relatively new patient here and so far every experience has been a breath of fresh air. My doctor is so unbelievably kind and empathetic, the receptionists are straight to the point which I appreciate and the facility is clean and tidy with excellent parking. I have had so many horrid doctors in the past who have brushed off serious concerns and left me at a point where I don't even bother going to see a doc when I'm sick because what's the point, they don't help. Now I feel listened to and validated in my concerns. This probably won't be seen by my doctor, but she has saved my mental well being and actual gives a damn about my physical well being too. I'd give ten stars if I could.

   The facility is sterile and resembles an after hours surgery. The staff are mostly good, however there have been some problems which caused us to consider going somewhere else. Not my first choice of medical centre, but it is close so will go for the basics only.

   Absolutely first class place. Been with Doctor Ryan for years and I've always been treated with aroha and tika! Her secretary Philipa also needs adding too! Really genuine, compassionate and welcoming.

   I was contacted yesterday to come and get my flu jab and I want to thank the clinic and the staff for the very professional but friendly way this was carried out - distancing of seats, hand sanitizing on arrival and supervising by staff was excellent. Well done to all. Ngaire Garrick

   New patient at this practice and I found it to be a positive experience. Reception staff were super friendly and put me at ease right away. And my new GP really listened to me and gave me my full 15 minutes! Big thumbs up.
