I had an outstanding experience with The Appliance Guy. From start to finish, the service was efficient, friendly, and incredibly professional. My dishwasher was diagnosed and advice given quickly, with clear communication throughout the whole process. It’s rare to find a technician who is both highly skilled and genuinely customer-focused, but The Appliance Guy absolutely delivered. I’m extremely impressed with the quality of service and will definitely be using them again for any future appliance issues. Highly recommend!
Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff member on the phone, would not recommend this business to anyone, read the other reviews. I wish I has saved myself the time. I had all of the information and diagnostic codes provided so all that was needed was to order a part. The staff member I spoke to on the phone refused and was just looking at charging us an assessment fee, then another fee to order parts and then another fee to install parts. this is a 5 minute repair only requiring the removal of 2 screws stars. called Tims Appliance Repair the the difference was night and day, very helpful and they ordered the part on the phone and are coming out in two days time to fit the part, they said it will take less than 10 minutes and the cost will be $80.00 including GST for labour and parts.
I haven't used APPLIANCE GUY for a long time , but had the need, called them up an spoke with Venessa who was really great , an then to have Paris call an fix my Washing Machine was just Great. Would recommend the Appliance Guy , as from soon as ypu call , they have yr problem solved an no waiting time. AWESOME
Super impressed by the fast and helpful service. They came the day I called, assessed the situation and took the machine away to see if they could get the underwire out without taking it apart and therefore destroying its integrity. They knew I didn't want to spend too much on trying to fix it when it still may have to be replaced. They managed to get the wire out and reinstalled the machine for a reasonable cost - 1/10th of what a new machine would cost me! So happy with the service and the outcome. Great communication from Doug and Paras - thanks guys, you made my day! Note to self, always use a washing bag!

Another disappointing experience. I should have looked at these reviews first. Our experience was similar to what others have said. Appliance Guy came and provided us a quote of replacement of 60cm ceramic cooktop. The quote of the cooktop itself is already 17% more expensive than retail price, and there is freight + call out fee + installation charge. So we have decided not to go ahead. After that, we received an invoice of not proceeding with the quote, which is $149.5 !! I contacted them and said I agreed to pay the labour fee of $40 for time they spent for the quote but they declined. They said they need to charge $40+$90 for call out + GST = $149.5. What a rip off. I think it is not a good way of doing business. Will not recommend them to anyone.
Disappointed service. I rang and told them what was wrong with the oven door and what was required. Someone turned up and said I'll let you know the price. Never heard back but arrived back to a $126.50 bill for call out, to turn up and do nothing. They also finally quoted in the bill over $400 to fix the hinge...cheaper to fix it myself.
I'm very happy with the service I've received from this company. The repairman that came was very knowledgeable, tried a very simple fix which turned out perfectly and saved me quite a bit of money. He also followed up a few days later to check.on how things were going. I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others.
The door on my washing machine needed repair. Service man stood at door for less than 2 minutes, stating he would source a part and get back to me. Heard nothing. 2 weeks later received invoice for $98.90 , with small note saying part not available. I understand a call fee but considering i live 5 minutes from the business!!!! Will be finding a different repair place, that was an absolute rip off!
