We had a major claim with our last boat. Our experiences with the Christchurch earthquakes we found that insurance companies did not cover themselves in glory. However to our pleasant surprise, Nautical dealt with our claim efficiently, quickly and with minimum stress, which allowed us to proceed on the path to recovery without delay. We recommend Nautical as the insurance broker for boating matters.
Nautical Insurance are great until you have a claim. Bryan Noonan was heartless to deal with and when we had a major issue with the boat breaking its mooring they couldn’t back pedal fast enough to deny the claim. Do NOT go near this company. Use a company that actually has your best interest at heart. They did not care about me as a customer at all. Couldn’t get away from the issue quick enough.
Great to deal with, quick and easy
We have had our boat insurance with Nautical for decades and we can't recommend them highly enough. Nothing is ever a problem in dealings with them. All claims have been handled efficiently, and as well as changing vessels. Nice to experience hands on service in this day and age. Well done Nautical Insurance.

This is really a great place to get marine insurance. Probably the best company in New Zealsnd. The owners will go out of their way to ensure your marine insurance is adequate, affordable and suits what you will be doing on the water. An excellent team who know their insurance products. They welcome a phone call or you can drop in and talk anytime. Be assured they will manage any claims with fairness and impartiality.
