   Started my autistic son there to learn some life skills. They have been patient, taking care to not push too fast and keep training at a pace that works for both father and son. Unlike some martial arts styles Chan's works with your body helping you move more fluidly - rather than stressing through rigid exercises. White belt learning includes practical tips for self protection from day one. Chan's is a family friendly club where family members of different ages can train together. None of the gung-ho macho stuff I've seen else where. Highly recommended. I'd like to add to my review. I've now been going for 3 months and ti just gets better. I walk better, stand better, feel better (although the initial next day stiffness was experienced for the first few weeks - I am over 50 after all). Even more pleased than when I first arrived and my son loves it. Thanks
