   Can’t recommend this clinic highly enough, from the reception right through to the cardiologist., they got me in a lot quicker than I expected. Everyone was very friendly, thorough and reassuring, and I felt so well cared for through what is rather anxious time dealing with heart issues. Couldn’t have asked for better care sm very grateful for their help!

   No time delays - appt on time. Very good service - not only by the doctors, but reception too - I would recommend this team to anyone with Heart related issues. 5/5 A little pricy (too much for my disability to cover) but these are to be expected when going private. However, price doesn't enter the equation when ones health is on the line; I was pre-warned that things like heart CT's are expensive, so we agreed to go public on that! =))

   Perfect opinion confirmed my suspicion...namely that Amiodorone ,has nasty side effects including, but not limited to lesions on lungs and peripheral neuropathy. And should only be used short term (and not for the 20 years that I took that drug as advised by another Cardiologist).

   Avoid dr Janice swampillai at all costs she have a pile of complaints at Waikato hospital and I am a casualty of her unprofessionalism about a simple treatment. I landed at Waikato hospital on 2020 with heart failure, they did nail the diagnosis with an eco, acute pericarditis, this “dr” only gave me ibuprofen for 2 weeks only and blocked me when I went again to er, any dr gives colchicine plus nsaids for 3 months, then my mri showed heart and lung inflammation and no improvement… because I was not in the right treatment I became chronic and lost my life as I knew it, now can’t walk more than a block or carry my groceries thanks to this “dr” I went to Auckland to avoid her and again the protocol said they need to ask her! She doesn’t have a clue and a lot of people is getting damaged by her unprofessionalism, do our community and quit!!!

   I visited Waikato Heart for a consultation. The communication was excellent and I had to change the time which was no problem. I was very pleased with the procedure and consultation and highly recommend. Great to get everything answered and explained.

   Dr Janice was very unprofessional and nasty towards my mother who was in hospital with heart problems very uncaring shouldn’t be a dr if u have a attitude like hers.
