Have been seeing Karen for over a year now, and not a day goes by where i’m not grateful for all the help, support and guidance she has provided me. Through my sessions with her, i’ve been able to completely turn around my outlook on life & on people, improved emotional regulation and boundary setting etc. as well as picked up numerous other tools and methods to help me in my recovery. 100% recommend. Karen is a kind, compassionate woman who has, on numerous occasions now, gone above and beyond for me, and i will forever be thankful for her part in my journey.
Was booked in for an app by Karen herself, arranged three children’s after school care/daycare to be able to make it. Arrive early only to be left sitting there while I see another client arrive and go in at my app time. Try to call, then text to find out what’s going on, do I wait around as I don’t live in Hamilton. Wait around for half an hour but with no reply decide to turn around and drive home as the three children need to be collected. Eventually get a text late that evening saying she didn’t have her phone on her (all afternoon?) and she hadn’t booked me in (after texting me to offer me that app days prior?) and offered me a half price session the following week - which wouldn’t even cover the days cost that it took for me to be there in the first place (paying for an extra daycare day + gas money). She did not even have the courtesy to call me to apologise in person, just a text hours later. Worst experience, a muck around is an understatement. Complete waste of my time and money and that was all without even being seen. Would not recommend to anyone.
