   Joined 4 six weeks and really for the price you can't find a nicer or cleaner pool and spa in Christchurch. Locker rooms are very well maintained. Weight room is interesting, all machines are digital and work on air pressure, so there are no physical weights to lift (and no clanking) and each machine remembers your settings, when you swipe your card the weight changes and the seat if necessary. Very cool! People at reception are nice. Haven't tried any of the classes upstairs. Only drawbacks are, it can be crowded, hard to park, and the coffee in the Cafe is weak.

   For a $20 week membership as long as you book in, there is the gym, circuit, pool for swimming or aqua blast or fitness, line dancing, tai chi plus more. A cafe is attached. Throughout this complex, the staff are friendly and helpful . I suggest to all my friends and family they should join.

   Must try the Natter Cafe - it's open to the public! The food served here reminds me of an elevated Gold Coast cafe. The setting is minimalist and the outlook is rather tranquil with the fruit/vege garden and resident's courtyard. It's got that sanctuary-esque vibe. As it primarily caters to the rest home residents, the prices are very reasonable for (a) the amount and (b) the quality. Best Caeser salad in town. The croutons are even topped off with mozzarella.

   Wow! What a find. Never mind all the activity stuff (looks great) the cafe, Battersea, is the best in Christchurch. Food, coffee...the best. Spacious, modern, bright, clean. Chatty staff. Chess game, computers, newspaper.. and loads more. Go there!
