   If I could give 10 stars I would. I was immediately greeted by the most warm Welsh lady. She was so lovely to talk to. I wasn't going to come in as I feel bad getting my rings cleaned at no charge but she immediately told me that I am welcome anytime. I was shown some stunning rings to try on, which were great prices. I had actually walked in not feeling in the best frame of mind but I left feeling really happy. A true assest to Westende.    I had been looking for a carriage clock for my mother's 80th birthday for some time. I had seen them at overseas auction houses and some NZ ones (with the caveat "I don't know if it works or not) and had just about given up hope. Then I saw a lovely Henley carriage clock on Westende Jewellers website. I enquired to see if it was still available through their useful chatbox. When I found out it was, I ordered it immediately. The following day I received an email asking if I was sure I wanted this fragile item to be sent from Christchurch to Auckland. I was clearly informed of the risk (and insurance issues) and told that they (Tazia) had been communicating with NZ Post about the best way to package this item. Tazia held the clock for me as we discussed the in's and out's of the shipping. The day after I agreed it should be sent, it arrived in perfect condition. Thank you so much! Your service is fantastic!

   I have shopped in store many times over the past few years, and been served by a handful of different staff members. Each one has been helpful, personable and well informed about the products they are selling. I especially like the relaxed atmosphere, where the team are attentive and ready to help, but not pushy. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something special and a bit different from the run-of-the-mill chain stores. Thanks Westende!

   As soon as I saw the Citizen Eco-Drive watch I really wanted on their website I emailed Westende Jewellers, recieved a prompt reply, and was able to pay over the phone immediately. The watch was sent over night from Christchurch to Whangarei completely free. The watch came pre-charged (Eco-Drives need 12hrs of full sunlight, or 150 hours under a flourescent light to fully charge the lithium-ion battery) so I was able to wear it instantly. Very prompt and efficient service. [The watch in the photo is a Citizen Eco-Drive bm7463-12a.]
