   Have never been so demeaned by staff before. My Fiancé and I were looking at wedding rings but our taste and engagement rings were constantly judged and demeaned. Additionally the lady we talked to was incredibly sexist calling my partner ‘inconsequential’ because he is male and that his ring didn’t matter?! We ended up getting our rings second hand from Riccarton Pawnshop who were much nicer and helped us get beautiful unique rings that weren’t overpriced.

   My newly married wife and I had brought a ring. As my wife has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, we had been waiting on the ring as it was being resized. After explaining the situation and urgency, the team at Eastgate moved Heaven and Earth to get the ring asap. The team were understanding and professional. Without there above and beyond service, my new wife may have not received the ring and had the best day before her condition turned. Thank you Eastgate Pascoes for ensuring my new wife had a magic day.

   They couldn't help me I was going to buy a gold nose ring it was advertised online . I went in they had none only one left in Timaru she did ask if I wanted her to get them to send on through. But she gave me a poor review on the nose ring and I decided no. So, that was that , nothing more to say.

   I just walked into Pascoes Eastgate mall. I have been buying all my jewellery from them since 2016. Today was the first time I came across this very rude staff. First of all I asked her if I could see a stretchable strap watch .when asked for rose gold she said that's all they have. Later when showed her photo she brought it from inside. Well no complains there. Wanted to buy rose gold one. Asked if strap could be adjusted ,,very rudely said no because I dont know how to do it. Rather go buy from somewhere else. Nil customer service experience...

   disgraceful service. Took a necklace to this store to get assistance with unknotting a very fine chain, left the store to run errands while the storeperson was unknotting. I came back to the store and when he handed it back over to me it was shockingly obvious that it was a completely different chain! upon questioning this, his manager denied that the chain had been swapped and repeatedly lied to me. I reached out to a seperate branch in Christchurch where the regional manager got in touch with the store in which case the manager of Eastgate continued to lie about the conditions of the chain. Issue was not resolved and I was told there was nothing that could be done. Disgusting behaviour, will not be returning to any Pascoes store in the foreseeable future.

   Just want to say a big thank you to symone I was looking to buy a watch and when I entered symone Ade me feel welcome and was very polite and has a very strong customer focus ,I left only to return to purchase a watch and other items as she had a trainee badge on but I will definitely go back to buy from symone again as I am in retail aswell and it's not a easy job keep up the great work symone Regards Mark

   DO NOT BUY JEWLLERY HERE!! We bought 2 rings that were supposed to be ''engagement'' rings and we were told it was real silver lol, WELP they both turned our fingers green hahaha. We were told that it might be the medication or the type of lotion we were using on our hands. They also claimed there was a scratch after only wearing the ring ONCE for about 20min before our fingers went green. They also broke the law in accordance to the consumer rights, so I've put in a request to the tribunal and I can't wait for them to lose their license soon lol. The funniest thing is they let me return a ring only a few days before this incident lol so the inconsistency is ridiculous!
