My son came to Paul as a complete beginner guitarist 2 years ago and he's been such a fantastic teacher for him. My son eagerly went off to lessons each week and always loved the 30 minutes spent playing and learning from Paul. I'd highly recommend Paul as a teacher, he has an awesome manner with young musicians and a real love for the music.
My son has learnt drums with Paul, and latterly with the tutors Paul has employed, for 3 1/2 years. Not wanting to practice doesn't make him the easiest kid to teach, but Paul and his team have always been extremely patient and supportive, always looking for ways to hook him in further, and celebrating the small wins and improvements. Paul is a considerate, thorough music teacher with an impressive reservoir of knowledge and a great knack for balancing relevant guitar theory with the more practical aspects of guitar playing. My daughter age 7 started taking drum lessons with Paul last year, he is just an awesome drummer and has inspired her to get better at sight reading.She has grown to love the instrument with his help over the last year.
