    I called this place to get a tire price and was told it was $157 including GST. About 30 minutes later, I called again to confirm, and another person quoted $168 for the same tire. When I asked to speak with the person I spoke to earlier, they wouldn’t transfer the call. Instead, they questioned why I was asking again if someone else had already given me a price. As a customer, I have every right to confirm prices or check with more than one person. It was disappointing to see the price change within such a short time and the lack of professionalism in handling my query.

    Very friendly staff and they no doubt mean well, but they misdiagnosed my aircon as a fault with the expansion valve, due to thinking soapy water was dye. I have the video. This almost cost me about $900 in wasted work. Luckily, I got two other opinions and eventually replaced the condenser with Albany Auto Air, who did the work for the best price, at my house, and I have had no more issues. Maybe this was a one-off bad experience with Roskill Auto Mechanical, but either way, it is also a cautionary tale to get a second and third opinion. RAM apologised, which is honorable - rating updated.
