I was quoted on correct dimensions, then charged more after the vehicle been transported 400km (overseas) for crating, on the claim it had βchanged sizeβ. It hadnβt. Additional charges were added without approval. A paid quote was ignored. Delivery ran nearly twice as long with multiple date changes, and poor communication caused unquoted storage fees. This is not bad luck β itβs how they operate, in their eyes the Consumer Guarantees Act is voluntary. You have been warned.

Stay away. Taurus are notorious for: Stacking fake micro-fees Splitting one service into 3β4 line items. Charging βUKβNZ quarantine complianceβ fees that donβt exist. Overcharging fumigation like itβs gold-plated. Padding trucking/handling massively. The quoted me $3k for a small caravan fumigation and then another $500 for trucking fumigation to the port and another $600 for origin handling at the port. Stay Away.

Moving can be a worrying time and there are always so many questions that come up, often in the middle of the process. I certainly appreciated the very helpful staff from Taurus Logistics during my international move. Especially the helpful, thoughtful and efficient work by Haley Sears and Richard Hack in resolving the move for my Private container, including Customs assistance and also for the involved process of bringing over my special vehicle. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE We shipped our vehicle from New Zealand to Australia with Taurus Logistics and were unfortunately left very disappointed. The sea crossing was supposed to take four days, plus a few days for handling at the port β a total of about one week. In the end, it took almost a full month before we could collect our vehicle, due to port congestion and strict biosecurity regulations (according to Taurus). Throughout this period, we only received updates when we asked for them. There was no proactive communication from the company at any point. When we finally picked up the vehicle, it was filthy, clearly rummaged through and many of our personal belongings had been stolen. Taurus made no effort to support us in understanding what had happened. Instead, they simply told us it was our fault for not removing everything beforehand β no accountability or interest in investigating the issue. They showed no sense of responsibility and compensation was never even up for discussion. We entrusted Taurus Logistics with our vehicle and that trust was completely let down. I strongly urge others not to be misled by the positive reviews. If anything goes wrong during your shipping process, you will be left on your own.

Itβs hard to make a decision to choose a company to shipping my car from Auckland to Australia. After some market research,, I choose Taurus to do this job. They give a reasonable quote , they also have a long history and professional knowledges back up for this case. All the staffs work there are quite patience and nice to answer my questions and email. Although I need wait my car for twice times inspect and quarantine in Australia, itβs take a while. They still doing good job to solve all the problems during the export and import processing. Thanks to all the Taurus staff both work at New Zealand and Australia. They are excellent ! Definitely highly recommend!

It was indeed a long and challenging process from contemplating to ship my car to finally seeing it parked in the garage of my Sydney home. Thanks to Richard for applying to the import permit on my behalf, Barbara (NZ side) and Karen (Australia side) for guiding me through. There were a couple of unexpected charges which I was told are out of their control. I got an invoice from the Australian office for cleaning and reinspection pretty much straight away after the car failed quarantine inspection for which I paid immediately. Then to get a compliance certificate, it set me back another thousand plus dollars which I was not aware how expensive it was, not to mention another 3% stamp duty on the market value of the car payable to Transport NSW when getting the registration. Does it worth all the costs and hassles? Well it all depends on how much you love your car. If I ever do it again which I might, I would definitely use Taurus I can trust.

I recently engaged Taurus Logistics to ship my vehicle from Murray Bridge, South Australia. The whole experience was amazing. The staff at Taurus made the process so easy and hassle free. Taurus handled the transporting of the vehicle from Murray Bridge to Melbourne, Marine Insurance, shipping from Melbourne to the Port of Auckland, all clearance at the port and transport from the port to Mt Wellington for the vehicle inspection. The whole process took 3 weeks. There were no hidden costs and everything went very smoothly. We found Taurus amazing to work with, nothing was a problem.
