Fab boutique brewery with an interesting variety which seems to have something to suit most palates. Also have some non-alcoholic fizzy drinks in the fridge.
Fantastic little spot. I had a paddle and tried the NZIPA, westcoast, porter and Stout, served in beakers! All were really good but want to shout out the Stout as it was a classic oat Stout that was really good. Full body and flavour. Took a few cans away and will definitely visit next time I'm in the area.

We stopped by this little brewery on our way to Tauranga, so glad! For such a tiny brewery to have 12 beers on tap is very impressive. We tried all 12 beers (ranging from session ales to APAs to hazy IPAs, sour ales, and stouts), nothing was a miss. We almost missed the brewery because it was down a small road but HIGHLY recommend!!
Great experience at Alchemy Street Brewing which has recently taken over Slab Brewing. 12 taps to order from with an option for a tasting tray, great variety of beer, the manager was friendly and helpful and great genuine brewery atmosphere. Snacks available and takeaway cans of beer too.
Awesome little place. We were greeted by the owner (we think), he was friendly and let us try a couple of beers before we decided what we wanted. He chatted about all their different brews, great experience on a Friday night!
We arrived around 12.30pm and we were greeted by The Manager I believe. He was wonderful I wanted a lager and my partner wanted a dark ale. It was a great experience and we managed to taste a variety of beers, and we brought a few takeaways. Would suggest you put this on your must do list.
